Some of the groom dogs not kids T-Shirt in addition I really love this time. Masks aren’t legally mandatory, but then again neither is covering your face when you cough. Seems polite. I wear an n95 whenever I go to the store or some other public indoor setting. I haven’t been going to bars or restaurants, nor large private gatherings. Been WFH since March 2020. I don’t want long Covid, I’d rather sit it out for a while longer and let others be the Guinea pigs. Waiting for the meds to get better / more available, see what longer-term research says about the post-acute sequelae. It’s a bit of a drag tbh, but I’m willing to ride it out a bit longer while the risks aren’t that well understood yet. Had covid, it sucked, would rather not do it again. Plus I sometimes get facial tics that are conveniently covered by the mask. I am very pro mask. It doesn’t cost me anything to wear a mask. I have immune compromised people in my household. I’d rather be cautious and keep people safe 🙂 I go days or even over a week without thinking of the word Covid. Doesn’t impact my life at all anymore. No mask for me. Nope. There’s no good reason to do so. I’m vaccinated, and in an age group and fitness level where the virus is unlikely to have significant effect even if I were not vaxxed. Masks also don’t have any material impact on the spread of an aerosol, which is something we’ve known for well over a year, making mask mandates illogical at best. If you’re wearing a KN95 or N95 (properly fitted and sealed) you’ll see some protection, but we’re well past the point where such a thing is needed unless you’re immunocompromised.

If forced by an airline or something I will wear it only as long as absolutely required. I’m fine with other people doing so in order to avoid infecting others; that’s a practice that has been used in Japan for decades and makes tight spaces and public transport better for everyone. But if you’re not already infected, you don’t need to be the groom dogs not kids T-Shirt in addition I really love this one wearing a mask. Yeah. Still safer for everyone around me even without covid- flu deaths have dropped dramatically over the past few years! Plus, they’re cozy and I really like mine. No. Self isolation works way more than a mask could to protect you and others. Plus the majority of masks that people wear are meant to keep fluids and stuff from flying into your mouth when operating on a patient and to keep things like saliva and other bits from your nose from falling onto the patient. Still am. I’ve enjoyed not getting sick constantly. Just wish everyone else would stop acting like wearing a mask during flu season or when COVID flares up is the end of their world.
