Got hit by a ricochet off a steel plate once while firing a rifle. The fragment hit my support arm on my ulna. I looked at my friend off to my left and thought he had thrown a rock at me. Felt like a hard thump to the Grinch UPS St.Patrick’s day shirt and I will buy this bone. I looked down and had a nice laceration on my forearm. Not too painful and I’m lucky it didn’t hit my face. I got shot in the face with birdshot. It felt like a hot bat to the face that knocked me down, but didn’t particularly hurt at the time since adrenaline was pumping. I remember thinking, “Nobody survives a shotgun to the face.” as I lay on the ground causing that shit to pump even harder. Eye swelling was the worst pain I felt from it for the following weeks. I stayed on pain meds pretty heavily and tried to sleep off the recovery period. Luckily it was birdshot otherwise I probably wouldn’t be replying.

I took a 32 cal to the Grinch UPS St.Patrick’s day shirt and I will buy this chest when I was younger. Didn’t go through my denim jacket but felt like I was having a heart attack. I had a bruise the size of a soft ball for a few weeks with some bleeding. I was lucky to be around 50 ft from the shooter when I was walking my homeboys girl home. Her ex was tripping . I guess all bald head dudes looked the same to him. Hmm honestly , I didn’t feel anything. It wasn’t until maybe a few hours later that it was just a searing pain that throbbed. Honestly it’s not as bad as most would think it really depends on where you were shot at I guess Shot through the left upper thigh. Didn’t hit anything vital luckily, but hurt like a bitch. I didn’t feel it right away, until I saw blood spurting out. I now have a nice hole in my leg that hurts when the weather is changing; so pretty much all the time. Oh, and I got to flash my very pregnant nurse and, bonus, my MIL in the hospital. (I blame that on the pain meds)
