There was a couple of trees full of them right next to my parents’ house. One year my brother and I collected all the fallen ones and rolled them into a stump for the squirrels. Another year we gathered them all, had our mom cut them in halves, and put them all in a plastic baby pool in the backyard in hopes of attracting animals. We saw some deer, but there were always deer in the yard anyway.

Also knew an Indian kid who crashed his father’s boat into a Jetty. His name was Ramazary but people called him Ram-a-jetty. I feel like that last guy earned it. There’s a guy in my friend group we still call “wheelie” because he gave himself a brain injury doing a wheelie on a dirt bike over a decade ago. I have an old friend that I’ve known since first grade. He has a very normal first name but his surname would in english be “Falcon”. So sometime in 7th grade we all started calling him that instead, and then it evolved to “Falcon-eye” and sometime in high-school it just got abbreviated to “The Eye” and that’s what we’ve been calling him for the past 25+ years.
