So, I helped with my brothers when I was younger, and my nieces and nephews. I’ve said since I was…ten (about to be 35 now and I’m male) that I just never had an interest in having my own. But I agree that, should anyone decide to change their minds on that *shrugs* that’s life Very true, although kinda too late to go back on having a kid after youve had a kid.. and to decide to have a kid after menopause.. but both those situations are quite far off for OP. has lots of time to decide. Yes exactly. I feel like when people say this, those that say they don’t want kids get offended. Like WHA? Change my mind? NEVER! Like.. chill. It does happen and it’s OK that it happens. I’m definitely not the Griffin Jax Minnesota fade baseball shirt besides I will buy this same person I was when I was in my 20s.

That’s bc our choice is never respected in the Griffin Jax Minnesota fade baseball shirt besides I will buy this first place and, on a societal level, “you’ll change your mind” is just telling us we are stupid, don’t know what we want, or anyone else knows better. It’s also used to deny our bodily autonomy. People who say it as definitely you’ll change your mind are being assholes, but saying what the person I replied to said is nothing to get worked up over. The difference between saying it in general, people change their minds, vs a specific person matters. The context matters and it’s always a shitty thing to actually say to an individual person when they express they don’t want kids outside of very specific situations. No one tells people that want kids they will change their minds, and if they do, they are immediately an asshole. Why is the reverse bot true?
