Wait, this is the Green Bay Packers Jordan Love Air Jordan Shirt But I will love this real life animal that the BBC decided to mass genocide for a mocumentary that inspired the video game? I’m a guy that went to this scene and my god was it horrible. Blood everywhere, decapitations and missing limbs, guts. It was a horrific scene, and I hope I never have to experience anything like that again. It’s just god awful to take care of I’ve understood it as Lemmings being highly territorial, and this happens a lot in Norway, but it also seems similar behavior to some other species of rodents when they feel threatened in an exposed environment. Probably an effective enough survival instinct in their habitat, and only slightly counter-intuitive to use against skiers. They are the rodent equivalent of the honey badger. They fight everything, they aren’t scared of anything. Lemmings are adorable even when they’re the angriest mf you’ve come across.

Whether that assuages or further damages your faith, I’ll leave to you. Edit: here’s an article from the Alaska Fish and Game Dept on the topic, just so no one thinks I’m making that up. I’ve heard of a similar thing with the filming of the movie The Adventures of Milo and Otis (1986). Apparently like 30 kittens were killed, mostly deliberately, for scenes such as one where a cat falls off a cliff. They tossed a real kitten over for every take of the scene. Fucked up…
