Yes. Yes they did. I grew up in a time when ADD (in the GRANT ENFINGER American professional stock car racing driver T-Shirt moreover I will buy this Before Time when there wasn’t the H) and I was on Ritalin. They would constantly threaten to “have me committed” where they told me I would be strapped to a bed and given regular injections (to a 6-year-old is absolutely terrifying) I mean, I’m no contact with my father now because of that bullshit (and plenty of other things) and my mother died when I was 16, but yes, I totally would say those things to my parent. Invite them to dinner, tell them you have great news, and then your girlfriend and you can announce it at the table This! It really may help if you announce it definitively, enthusiastically as the good news it is, as opposed to tentatively (as if asking for their validation/approval).

This!!! Make it a whole big pregnancy announcement then it’ll be obvious that it was planned and they have less room to be disappointed But, also be prepared for the GRANT ENFINGER American professional stock car racing driver T-Shirt moreover I will buy this inevitable follow-up questions like if you plan to get married, live together, get a house eventually, etc. What happened to your first child? Is that still in your life? Your parents life? Or did you decide against gestating ? Yes I have my daughter 50/50 split custody. We just told her this evening and she’s extremely excited. I work shift work and my dad’s going to be retired, so he’s more or less my go to child care when my girlfriend is working or busy. I can see why your parents won’t be thrilled if you just assume that you’re entitled to free childcare from them for however many children you decide to have. You need to find child care for your kids. I’m sure your parents will be happy, everyone loves a baby. But when your folks are your built-in babysitter, they may not be really happy with your choices. It’s difficult when you get older to take care of little ones. So, while you say this one was planned, you are also putting a burden on your parents. This was your choice, not theirs, so let them know when you tell them that you made a conscious decision to have another child, and you are responsible for all that goes with it. Tell them you have the money and the means to raise two kids, and all you expect from them is to love them.
