It’s so fucked up! Republicans are hypocritical pieces of shit who bitch and moan about “limited/small government,” then turn right around and use the Grand Prix car shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this state to ban effective and beneficial medical treatments if they “morally object” to the treatment. The hypocrisy is frankly stunning. The state should not be able to make our medical decisions for us no matter what, but it’s especially egregious when they’re doing so in bad faith. “In signing this bill, I recognize our society plays a role in protecting minors from surgeries or treatments that can irreversibly damage their healthy bodies. However, as policymakers we should take great caution whenever we consider allowing the government to interfere with loving parents and their decisions about what is best for their children.”

Grand Prix car shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

They don’t see the Grand Prix car shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this side where all of the major healthcare organizations have accepted it as the standard of care based on decades of studies and science. It’s not that they don’t see, but that they don’t care. All they care about is being able to force those they see as less than them (queer people, women, people of color, etc) to bend to their will. Disagree. Most conservatives I talk to in person or online like in the subreddit think doctors are mutilating kids genitals and pumping healthy boys / girls with hormones because they decided to be the opposite sex and their parents allowed it. I’m missing half my foreskin and it’s not trans people’s fault. Bur guess what gets specifically exempted in these laws? The thing that actually happens to kid’s genitals unconsentully
