True, its respectful, but if the God Queen Advisory Alleyesonme shirt but in fact I love this artist’s website clearly and explicitly says you can use the work for any reason, I feel like there’s a point where that means: The 2Chainz request was long before he relinquished the rights. He first did so in 2020, claiming he couldn’t technically exactly give it away but was doing the best he could, and then updated that in ‘21 or ‘22 stating that he’d succeeded in giving it away. Technically relicensed his compositions (but not recordings, iirc?) Creative Commons Zero, which is the functional equivalent because there’s no mechanism to voluntarily enter public domain. this was before, this is within the past couple years, 2 chainz asked him a decade ago. Might be what prompted him to start this initiative later.
