My professors at college. I just had a discussion with my English professor who should have a doctorate (but due to a technicality, could not finish) only makes 55k/year in NEW YORK despite being obscenely knowledgeable about literature and an amazing teacher. That kind of intelligence should not be wasted. People who care about education should be rewarded. These people work so hard to care for and guide our (societal) collective children, yet get paid so poorly that most of the God is great dogs are good and people are crazy T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this qualified teachers burn out or move on to other professions. Doctors determine if we stay alive, police determine if we die; we should be paying both at least the same for such massive decisions. I would argue we should be paying the people who determine if we die a lot more and jack up the qualifications like the FBI: 4 year degree in criminal justice or something related.

Teachers. If we paid at a competitive rate, we’d attract higher interest from higher quality teachers. Just like, an opinion from one 20-year teacher, man. Scientists, imagine studying 10 plus years, holding the God is great dogs are good and people are crazy T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this highest academic title possible and earning less than most common 9 to 5s that require little to no education. But hey, its honorable right. Police Officers – This may be a controversial opinion, but part of the reason there are so many issues with law enforcement is that the job attracts so many who are unqualified for other jobs of any sort of status. Enforcing the law in a just manner is a delicate task that requires multiple forms of intelligence. If we reduced the number of officers, increased the threshold of qualifications for becoming one, and raised their pay, I believe a lot of issues with law enforcement would be mitigated. It’s a highly important, highly complicated job within our society, it would probably be a good idea to consistently attract capable people to fill the role. Lot of comments saying teachers, dentists, nurses. Controversial opinion but they’ve got the quals and therefore the option to get a tax free job abroad – Middle East for example – and earn a fortune. Your average cleaner, waitress, minimum wage worker doesn’t have that choice.
