…and a huge brain! You can see his head is way too big from the God first family second Denver Nuggets basketball shirt moreover I love this silhouette too. Amazing that no-one put it together roughly, the tongue bit was hard to guess from this, but the big brain part could have been easy – could even have guessed his DF. So the way I always saw it before the reveal was a big head, the nose as an ear, the mustache as a shoulder pad, and the tongue as an arm. We saw a big head vegapunk silhouette before this one, but the head was more cylinder shaped, not light ball I mean to be fair Oda draws a lot of weird characters so a big head doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll correlate with his devil fruit. I mean look how big ivankovs head is! Add into the fact that before this silhouette, the only other solid image we had of Vegapunk was the image spot of him robotising Kuma, and whilst we couldn’t see his head, his body proportions made him look like Dr. Tsukimi from Enel’s cover story

Which is likely the God first family second Denver Nuggets basketball shirt moreover I love this reason why Oda made Shaka look the way he does, so as to say that both silhouette, and long-body image spot were of Vegapunk, just not which Vegapunk Would’ve been crazy if through diffrent flashbacks we kept seeing diffrent vegapunk silhouettes just for the big reveal that there were multiple. Yeah, but knowing that Vegapunk is the ultimate big brain, seeing a literal big brain might have clued someone with advanced observation haki in on the possible big brain DF. Not easy, but surprised I never saw it theorised. How were we supposed to know that? None of the marines are like crylaugh.emoji when they see this dude w/ weirdass head + tongue lolling out, right?? People did notice that his head was big, and people thought it was from the same human species as Strawberry vice admiral, who have huge heads, and that is why he was so smart. I think he might have had the design as early as Vegapunk’s first mention. He obviously based it off Einstein and probably had that Einstein picture in mind while designing him. The funny thing is, immediately upon reveal my first thought was “well of course that’s exactly what he would look like.” As someone who has drawn and written stories his whole life ,I think that’s more common for mangaka then most ppl give credit. I’ve had plenty of characters I’ve drawn or written that were finalized way before I even got to that point in my story . So I figured if a unprofessional guy like myself does this ,it’s no way professional don’t.
