What happens if almost all hospitals in Idaho just refuse to deliver babies? You already can’t go out of state for an abortion. Statements like this are the Go Planet It’s Your Earth Day Earth Day T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this reason that I stopped describing myself as ‘left’ or even just ‘leaning left’. If you want to ‘wipe out’ a population, you are the problem. In all seriousness, though … they are certainly influenced by them. Because it’s not just anonymous lunatics on reddit anymore, is it? It’s actual people. In school, at the workplace and even on the stupid dating apps. And the more I run into ‘opinions’ like the one above, the more I think we, as a society of hopefully mostly sane individuals, need to respond with a firm ‘no’. That’s fine. My experiences have been different, especially since I avoid people who thrive on conflict. I find most adults get along just fine w each other on a day to day basis, and the antagonistic ones are their own worst enemies. Twitter is a toilet bowl- the sniping, nasty, schmucky mindset there is gross & destructive. But it’s not reflected in the people I interact w in real life 90+% of the time.

Anyhow. You’re right, of course. Most of the Go Planet It’s Your Earth Day Earth Day T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this people I interact with IRL are decent. I could just ignore the rest. And yet, I just can’t bring myself to do so. Get enough crazies together and suddenly, you can change quite a lot. Case in point: the US in general or even just the UK’s brexit. I’d rather not find myself on a pendulum, where every few years, it’s either ultra-conservative nutjobs running the show – or the whatever you want to call the left-wing equivalent. I agree abt calling out crazies when they clump together &/or accumulate power. But I appreciate you saying I’m right 🙂 That’s fine, I guess. I don’t need to be. I initially just assumed it, because most things I believe in are traditionally more left leaning. Healthcare, for example, should be universal. If you’re sick, you get treatment. Period. Same with this. Abortions need to be legal, if only because the alternative sucks a whole lot more. Some other stuff, though, is just scary. Some of these people are openly advocating for war, for ‘cleansing’ of the maga ideology and, most of all, censorship. Don’t agree? Well, then you must be the enemy.
