Same here, I cook at home because I have to. I’ve gotten pretty good at making meals out of weird, random, thrown together ingredients from food banks/dollar tree. It can really suck sometimes when you just want to relax and not be cooking, but I think the Go Bananas Peel Good Vibes T-Shirt and by the same token and skills is a good one to have. I cook at home, from scratch, i make a couple meal during the weekend and we eat that during the week with some left overs from a week before. I do lots of sandwiches and quesadillas. Canned soup, boxed Mac n cheese, cereals, frozen meals that I buy in bulk… I need to know what to make at home more Honestly 90% of what I make comes from trial and error (we still eat the errors lol, no food waste here!). I have some cheap meal ideas I can give you using foods you can find at the dollar store if you’re interested:)

I do pretty much all frozen meals aside from.sandwhiches and chicken breast. Then i just eat lots of fruits and veggies or fast food if im feeling lazy. Im single and do shift work so i dont feel like cooking when i get off work at 11pm or 7am The bulk bin section at my Go Bananas Peel Good Vibes T-Shirt and by the same token and supermarket has been my saving grace with food prices rising. Oatmeal is 79 cents per pound. 5 pounds lasts me over a month, so for $4 in oatmeal plus spices and a dab of honey and breakfast is covered. An instant pot makes beans and rice or other grains quick. I make a batch of each, combine them, add any veg I feel like, microwave them and throw on some salsa or other kind of sauce and voila, grain bowl. Oo you might have to share your no knead bread recipe getting a big container of oatmeal sounds like a great idea! I’ll have to keep a lookout for a cheap one or when it goes on sale 🙂
