I am like your wife, the Give It The OL’ Raso Dazzle Matildas Soccer Football Hayley Raso shirt it is in the first place but droning constant noise of the fan blocks out the weird random noises that will wake me up (I struggle with terrible insomnia). I can’t sleep without mine, and recently bought a travel back up when I forgot mine on a road trip. For me the noise is the worst part and even with stuff in my ear I can still hear it. Couldn’t sleep like this. Thats so weird, fans are such white noise to me. I have to consciously think about the fact that they make noise to make myself hear them. I personally love the sound of a fan, but at the same time, know exactly how you feel with not being able to tune our certain sounds. The harder I try, the more it bothers me. I hate having fans on while sleeping because it dries out my nasal passages and skin. I end up with interrupted sleep because my airways are so dry and I cough through the night. For me, I’m prone to having a dry mouth/lips when I sleep due to mouth breathing because of a deviated septum, and a ceiling fan makes it twice as bad if I even up sleeping on my back for part of the night. Honestly, for me sleeping with the fan on would be a deal breaker for me. The noise, the draft etc would make it incredibly frustrating for me to sleep. That said, I also would know that long before deciding to move in with someone else. She seems like she’s being pretty rude. Calling you fat seems over the line for something so minor. Pretty big red flag

Yeah, that’s a really big 0 to 60 for a minor argument. Disagreements like this happen in a relationship, and you have to brainstorm to figure them out together. The fact that she went straight for a weight insult is very concerning. The way she fights is the big problem. Yeah I had an ex who slept with the fan on full blast (even in the winter) and while it annoyed me, I never called him fat because I got mad (even though he was probably a few lbs overweight himself). His gf is immature, they could have reached a compromise if she knew how to communicate like an adult. Agreed. I’m a lot more than 9 lbs overweight and my boyfriend’s constantly telling me how much he loves me just the way I am. I can’t imagine how hurt I’d be if he called me fat. Imagine if the genders were reversed and he had called her fat… pretty sure she wouldn’t have liked it
