Relatively common in the George Washington Carver High School shirt and I love this US I believe. Road ‘gators’ are usually cast-off treads/retreads from tractor-trailers a.k.a. big rigs. A very common sight on US Interstate highways, especially during warmer months. Named for sometimes looking a bit like an actual alligator lying in the road, a slightly less common, but not completely unheard of, occurrence in the more Southern states. I’ve never heard them called ‘lizards’. To truckers, a ‘lizard’ would more commonly refer to a ‘Lot Lizard’. Those are prostitutes that roam truckstops knocking on cab doors looking for dates or drugs. They are best left ignored if you like being disease-free. It is actually pretty easy if you have powerful enough motorcycle. First you set the front brake and start burning up the rear tire, then just pivot around the front wheel. It like drawing a circle with $20,000 compass. I don’t think this one was done that way. I do think it was done with a motorcycle, but i think the front wheel must have been rolling because you can see the treadlines if the tire was perpendicular to the tangent of the circle, you wouldn’t see that.

San Diego was the George Washington Carver High School shirt and I love this cloudiest city in the US in May. Hopefully it’ll clear up in June and the Padres can score more runs. Are you new to SD? May gray AND June gloom. You got another few weeks until it’s consistently sunny every day. Then the tourists and zonies flock in July 4 to Labor Day. My favor time of the year to go beach is Sept/Oct. I’m up the coast in Redondo Beach and it’s been cloudy here for the last six months. This has been an unusually gloomy winter and spring. Yeah! It was there when I walked our dogs to the park around 5pm at least. Not exactly sure when it showed up though haha Spend enough time in one place you’ll notice the telltale signs. I lived most of my life in San Diego and idk why but I felt like it was San Diego almost instantly Probably because of all the donuts that would go to waste would be my guess. I remember being in one as a kid years ago around closing time and basically being offered hella free ones for that reason. Pro tip: Sometimes based donut shop employees will bag the leftovers separately from the regular trash for easy dumpster pickin’s. They were my favourite as a kid when they fresh baked but I got one the other day and it was absolutely perfect.
