For two reasons: 1) Racist trolling, 2) They are so used to seeing it, that they erroneously believe that the Geaux Tigers LSU Doing LSU Things NCAA National Champion Shirt besides I will buy this lack of it is what defines ‘culture’. Because historically, white culture doesn’t really exist It’s mostly the remnants of wherever your family is from so if you’re talking about certain family traditions or certain foods you eat there’s a country of origin that’s from. There’s very little white people do culturally in the US that is both uniquely American and created by white people. because most american culture is a mix of a bunch of different cultures. a lot of people assume because a culture isn’t 100% original that it just isn’t a culture. “white americans have no culture” is just wrong because everyone has culture, and if it isn’t culture from their ancestors (like immigrants i suppose i’m not sure how else to phase it) then it’s culture from the place they live, or a mixture of both

I always noticed that white Americans whose grandparents or great grandparents who immigrated to the U.S. usually can speak their native language or are really immersed in their culture. My city has a Portuguese celebration every year with many different Portuguese food, dance, & everything Portuguese. American Diaspora’s is different for everyone because some came to the U.S. during the early years of colonization & some came later to Elise island like my grandparents for example.
