Its a quality control tracker, meant to be picked up by a sensor before the box leaves the factory. Someone missed it. Call the company with the lot #, and where you bought it and the date. Anyone got a real answer? I get that jokes get all the upvotes, but it’d be nice to see the actual answer instead of a joke with thousands of upvotes. thats a glasslight. you can put it under glasses made with a spot for those to put under the glass. the glass illuminates and looks good. just china crap nobody needs😂 This reminds me of the light at the cement building on the hill, its got a hole and the light tells u when to go ….the place was pretty empty, some nice old man took my money and disappeared, then the light!

I got a shot glass at a Pub Crawl that had one of those on the Garment-Dyed Train Shirt What’s more,I will buy this bottom. Still don’t know the point but so many people were entertained by it. Guess they had more to drink than I did Could this be one of those control test devices that the factory drops into a random box of cereal to see if their metal detector is working? Essentially, every box that leaves the manufacturing plant should pass through a metal detector to make sure no foreign objects fell into the food. To make sure that system is working, they drop an object like this in a random box and then see if they catch it. The light function is probably so that they can quickly see it when they dump the box out and look for whatever set of the alarm. I would imagine it’s a tool they use for quality control or something like that, and it somehow found its way into the box. I would contact the company and send them those photos to be sure.
