I think what helped me work through a lot of it was honestly just being able to talk about it. I held it in for a few years because I didnt want to make people uncomfortable. Talking helped me process it outside of my own body and head. Damn I remember that. I was on vacation at Siesta Key FL when that happened and I felt such guilt just sitting there like a dumbass on a beach. I didn’t know what to do with myself and I felt so helpless.
