I have heard things like this which is why I carry a knife to scare away anyone who might try to force me out of my car. But never expected a police officer to behave like this especially someone who was off duty. Everyone is making a big deal out of the Game Over Back To School colorful rainbow T-Shirt Also,I will get this cop thing . OP was not at fault for showing the knife to the off duty piece of shit . You can beat the shit out of a cop on duty if he acts against the law and it threatens you. Your life was in threat. Where were you at wrong then? You are in the wrong because you are weak , without power in India especially in Bengaluru where people deny racism Legally you can’t beat up a cop even if they’re threatning your life. You can beat up another citizen but doing the same to a cop will land you in prison for a decade even if the cop was at fault. Police officials get immunity from this “self defence” thing. Until and unless the cop isn’t shooting at you in broad daylight, there’s nothing you can do. OP can get himself killed with such rowdy and reckless behaviour, he was lucky it was a cop. He’ll probably think twice before threatening someone with a knife again.

I don’t think I can feel safe going to that station I’m a social worker in Bangalore and will help you with this. What they did is not acceptable as per police protocol. If you feel like doing something about it, let me know via DM and we’ll work to get these guys punished. I have heard about you and what you are doing is amazing honestly when I was in station I really wanted to get in touch with you but now I just want to rest as I unfortunately don’t want to be harassed since they have my address I really appreciate what you do for our city. Regards.
