So really what they are looking for is someone who can set up/tear down things, train others, run multiple departments at once all while making less than fast food with no experience. My advice is don’t even bother, learn a trade or find something else entirely. Experience counts for absolutely nothing with these companies, it’s just something they can abuse you for. Untrue. You just have to find the Funny Monster Face T-Shirt In addition,I will do this particular companies that do initially train their employees. Problem is, the pay is usually less than average. Entry-level positions should 100% accept people with zero experience, but they’ve probably been burned too many times to do so anymore. It can cost a lot to train someone. It makes jobs go slower and it takes high-paid employee hours to pass knowledge. This goes for pretty much every field. You could always lie, but you could get caught and burn a bridge. I know a lot of people who’ve faked their way into really good jobs, but they never felt secure because of it. I had to “work” for free for like 3 months just to get experience before negotiating for part time, then get promoted to full time. Just treat it like an investment for yourself, hopefully you still have savings. Even better, you work for free to get experience and start your own company.
