I’d be shocked if it comes back. I’m just hoping that it’s taking a while because they have to find a new set and production company I genuinely don’t get the Funny Grinch I Have Neither The Time Nor The Crayons To Explain This To You Shirt besides I will buy this complaints, S3 was pretty good, it felt like an older season of US, satisfying winner. DU isn’t anywhere near as bad as some people act like it is I enjoyed season 2 a lot. It was one of the best seasons across all franchises last year. The chemistry between the cast members was really strong. Besides Gab and Ivory Glaze, I feel like we didn’t really get to know the rest of the season 3 cast very well. I learned a lot more about Isis on social media than I did on the show. The challenges weren’t that varied (3 write your own verse challenges in 8 episodes!) and I think we’ve all had enough of the tiny carport set. The lip sync song choices were really disappointing after some great choices in the first two seasons. The show losing its identity because Ru and Michelle don’t get all the references is a problem (even though having them involved is a coup).

I agree with your point about it feeling like an older season but I think that’s a credit to the Funny Grinch I Have Neither The Time Nor The Crayons To Explain This To You Shirt besides I will buy this queens. The overall production is bad. The huge problem is the production side being too focused on making a carbon copy of the US version and ignoring everything that makes Australian and New Zealand drag special. Moving filming and production to Australia and having a bigger set, and local hosts and guest judges will absolutely see the quality sky rocket. Ru, as much as I love her on the US version, has had a detrimental effect on our version because she’s too involved, and we can plainly see she has little to no local knowledge, meaning to impress her our queens have to rely on 20 year old pop culture references from the US, and viewers don’t get to experience actual Aussie and Kiwi drag.
