I’m sorry but I need something to put cardboard in, and to carry my water bottle, scanner, printer, and OMNI phone. The normal carts reserved for employees are always, ALWAYS taken by fashion associates, and another DM who has dubbed it “her cart” and gets mad when other people use it, even on her days off. I couldn’t imagine doing a cardboard walk and dragging those giant beige bins all over the Friends Sleigh Merry Christmas Disney Shirt Furthermore, I will do this place, then having a CAP member get mad at me for using one when they don’t have any others to use. This was our store. They ended up giving us ogp like bin/rolling racks. Decent upgrade… We still use shopping carts for returns and to stock 82 Ideally, yes, shopping carts are for the customers, but when there’s such a shortage of topstock carts and L-carts, it’s unreasonable to expect that you’re gonna use nothing at all. Like what do they want you to do, carry them by the armful? EDIT: if they are going to insist you don’t use the shopping cart, then talk to them about what you should use instead. Ask them how you ought to be doing your job if not with a shopping cart. Best of luck 🙂

No carts for anything at our store. When I first started they used carts for returns and we hit a point where there were probably 15-20 full carts of storewide returns It’s been a rule forever I think but they have times where they’re really annoying about it like when corporate or something comes in and complains. We would stick to it for a couple days and then we would run out of usable carts and be back to square one and this was in 2016 I don’t work at a Walmart store but I work at a distribution center (fulfillment center) every day impressed that management find new ways to be even Dumber. You need to hit your rate and had less idle time but Wi-Fi is terrible and the tablets are terrible. Report to your manager so you don’t get acquaintances. So? What is the plan here? We just walk around with stuff in our hands? How many trips is that going to take? Well, if you aren’t provided the proper equipment to efficently complete a job, that’s not your fault. I’d say OP should just do that, and if they complain tell them that it’s the only way they can do their job, and while completely inefficient, it’s the only way they can do it.
