I would benefit nothing, but a little reimbursement wouldn’t hurt anything to those who’ve paid off already recently I’ve been paying for schools and programs that benefit kids my entire adult life, both before and after my vasectomy. I’m never going to have kids. And I’ve been using that as my comeback to people talking about how they don’t want to pay for others to have their college debt forgiven. I’ve been paying for all y’all’s kids to attend school since nineteen-eighty-fucking-six so sit down and shut the Friends Princess Shirt but in fact I love this fuck up Scrooge. While I agree we can support things we don’t directly benefit from – in this instance I still don’t think we should forgive their loans. I would only agree that loans are forgiven if all new loans are no longer possible I’m fairly liberal and I like AOC but I this whole student loan forgiveness thing is a fucking sham. Why not address college costs directly instead of a 1 time forgiveness program.

Friends Princess Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

i have one friend who paid his off and agrees that the Friends Princess Shirt but in fact I love this debt liability for our generation is a huge problem. i have another friend who paid off his debt with $40k from his dad and he thinks people need to be responsible and pay it off themselves with hard work and discipline. we’re fucked yall. I’m a teacher who had 75k in student loans from my master’s program. I was counting on Public Service Loan Forgiveness to kick in after 10 years of regular repayment. I was 3 years in when Trump was elected, and shortly after that it became clear that his administration had no intention of honoring that program. I read horror stories about people having their forgiveness denied because of ridiculous, nonsensical things. There was also talk of repealing the program altogether.
