I don’t know why but as a guy I love doing household chores, we still don’t have any house help even though we could afford it. My family especially my mom thinks the Friends Matthew Perry 1969-2023 Thank You for the memories signature shirt What’s more,I will buy this same. I have three older brothers, the eldest being 8 years older to me. I am expected to keep quiet infront of them. I’m not allowed to say even mildly rude to any one of them even if they irk me. My brothers don’t care about me though. Friends decided to visit a mall, I had to convince each of the family members, starting from parents to two of my elder brother. Finally “got” the permission when the brother who was to drive me to the mall had to meet his “special friend” so he cancelled. I had to beg my parents to let me go alone but again eldest brother had a problem with it. According to him the mall has young crowd who smokes. Finally I couldn’t go. I’m expected to cook, clean and do all homely stuff which I do but my brothers won’t even pick up their plates and keep it in sink. It’s frustrating. Never got appreciated for scoring good marks in school and college. I’ve been scoring above 90,throught my school and college. Graduated with fourth rank in the university but one of the brother made me feel bad about it saying I had an easy degree and all i do is study. In fact the degree was chosen by them and i have no choice but to study as going out more than once in two weeks is big no no at my place.

I’m studying my ass off to get a job and leave as soon as possible. I don’t want to sound mean and childish but my dream is to become very successful, more than my father and brothers combined. Save money after getting a job and go on a solo trip to Europe lol. I swear I am going to live a miser life and just travel. Father has a cloth shop, brothers help him with the Friends Matthew Perry 1969-2023 Thank You for the memories signature shirt What’s more,I will buy this business. My only safe haven is studying and SM. I generally started ignoring. I don’t get irked at all. Because again it drains your energy. All power to you, financial independence is the key to the kind of freedom you are wanting. You’ve got this! That hurts truly. I am going through a similar situation lately. Been the “good/topper” kid throughout my degree but idk, never got appreciated for it, but then again, it’s pretty much useless anyways. And now I’ve shifted to a relative’s place coz I can’t afford added hostel/PG/Rent charges on top of my college fees, and it’s as if I am a maid here, I am either busy all day cleaning, cooking, doing laundry, etc, or bored to death, there’s no in-between. Not even being able to sleep properly. I thought I was going through testing times but then came across this post and saw all these comments and realised that it’s pretty much what every girl is going through. I feel, we have failed as a society if it’s only the sole responsibility of girls to do all this house work and not even be appreciated for it.
