mad props for posting; from a fellow millennial who’s been completely out of the Friday is for Karate Shirt Also,I will get this makeup game for 4-5 years now. I use to live and die by makeup in the best possible way and I miss it so much Honestly, when the pandemic happened I went from a full face every day to no makeup at ALL. Now all I know how to do is my old style lol. I’m looking for ways to freshen it up and perhaps lower my time spent on my face. Give yourself grace! Maybe start with something small like blush, mascara, and a gloss to give you the boost to do makeup again? I’d go more medium coverage and lightweight formulas all around. Thin the wing up a bit. A pretty blush would really brighten things up! If you love fenty, give their eazedrop tint a try! The one in the bottle (not stick) is better for oily skin types. Honestly you look great and so does your makeup. You could switch up your brows to be more ”soapy” and also switch the matte lip to a glossy one Some are saying to change the wing – you don’t need to. It’s a classic and great look on you, and you don’t need to be chasing the no liner trend that the 17 year olds use. I’d go for a less matte finish on your foundation and lipstick. Everything else will look modern with a little bit of glossy/dewiness.

I think the Friday is for Karate Shirt Also,I will get this foundation and setting powder gives me the matte look. I’m so worried about looking oily when I think of a dewy look but I need to get over it! If it helps I have dry skin and have never looked at someone and thought “they look so oily” or “ew oil” or anything similar. Especially these days when I spend a lot of money to look shiny I’d say try out something dewy and force yourself to get used to the newness then re-evaluate. If you still like th matte look then don’t change and in a few years when we cycle back to it you’ll be ahead of the curve. As a fellow millennial with oily skin and still using setting powder with a medium-full coverage foundation: I say use more highlighter!! When done well, highlighter can still give a glowy, kinda dewy & fresh look without sacrificing the mattification.
