We kind of have this issue in our home, but were able to compromise by turning the Former cfl coach rich stubler 1948 2023 thank you for the memories shirt so you should to go to store and get this fan down to medium. I don’t feel like I’m being tortured and she gets her fan. Seems basic, but is that a possibility? She knew this before she moved in and then shamed you when you didn’t acquiesce but instead offered an alternative. Quality of sleep is not something you should compromise on. You were not wrong. Sleeping with a fan blowing on me wrecks my sinuses. Guaranteed sore throat and pounding headache. Is it something like that or a sensory thing? I had this problem with my ex and the cold air hitting me all night caused literal pain and soreness in muscles that would cramp up and I’d get big knots from it. It’s a legit problem.

Try directing the Former cfl coach rich stubler 1948 2023 thank you for the memories shirt so you should to go to store and get this fan a different direction where it hits you but away from her. If it’s an overhead fan, turn it off and go buy a floor fan that you can change the direction on so it isn’t hitting her. I think the more important issue is that she immediately went after your appearance and weight the second you had a disagreement about something. That’s kind of a red flag there man. Am I the only one that thought you were referring to sleeping with a fan as in if you were a professional musician, athlete or porn star? My wife of 32 years and I have the opposite concern. She has a fan in even during the winter, I pull the covers up to my ears. If one wants to make a relationship work, one has to find a way to work around the small and sometimes irritating issues. (E.g., about 40% off men and about a quarter of women snore.) The weight comment is out of line. But it also sounds like both of you aren’t trying to reach a compromise. Is it the cold or noise that bothers her? Both can be addressed. If the cold, have you tried angling the fan so it’s only blowing on you and not her? Also, there are noiseless fans, or at least quiet ones. If it’s the sound it may be worth looking into one of those personal bladeless fans that can work quieter beside the bed. If not find out if playing some ambient sounds in the background can help, like some brown or white noise to cover up the sound of the fan. If it’s the temperature… Then buy her some warmer pajamas or a thicker blanket? Not much that you can do other than finding some sort of middle ground to show you care about her side as well and not ignoring her feelings while still standing up for your comfort.
