She should be using her personal light at that time. I think the Fork you Elon Shirt but in fact I love this personal light is yours to use whenever you want it. The main light is not. Unfortunately you can’t really force her to comply, you can talk to the hostel and see if someone can talk to her or move you but that’s about as good as it gets. As most people have already said go tell staff however they would be interested in the food in the room surely. Food in hostel rooms is a recipe for cockroaches and other bugs. On top of it being super disrespectful making noise/having light on that late. OP two essential things for travelling is an eye mask and ear plugs. It won’t be perfect but will mitigate things massively. Sounds pretty rude but expecting things to be quiet before 11 or after 7 might be a little unrealistic. And by quiet it really is no talking people dig into their bags at all hours. Those are the most common hostel quiet hours. I’d be a little taken aback if someone demanded lights to be off at 11 though..sleep masks exist for a reason. Unless you’re in a party hostel, lights off at 23 is very common. And no talking on the phone in the room, but talking with other guests is ofc a different story. It depends on the nature of the particular hostel. And who eats in the room? Always a no-no, unless its just chocolate bar or smth but a meal? I’ve been known to start another call or loudly talk to other people as close as possible to the other person’s video call. If I can’t enjoy my quiet time why should you enjoy your call?
Fork you Elon Shirt: A Provocative Statement in Modern Fashion
SHE described him as painfully shy and said he was bullied at Revere High School in Ohio because he was a “nerd”. Even better was a graphic novel that one of his very few HS friends wrote about him called My Friend Dahmer where apparently the Fork you Elon Shirt but in fact I love this series got some of its inspiration during his time in school. The same guy, Derf Backderf, also wrote a really well done graphic novel about Kent State. (And some good ones about the Akron punk scene if you’re into that) His name is John, his nickname is Derf because of his last name. I was unable to find any more information of the surname Backderf and now I strongly suspect it is entirely made-up. Haley, I’m not everyone. Like, do you really think I’d be the dog breeder? Like, I’d spend all my time hanging around a kennel with a bunch of dogs, check them for fleas, and clean out there cages and fill up their bowls everyday? Me? The dog breeder? That’s ridiculous, Haley. He actually had friends. He used to do this thing that was called “Pulling a Dahmer” where he’s just act out in class or in the hallways, like just act crazy or yell out random stuff like “blerrghhhh” or “gaahmuahh” and kids would laugh. One of his closest friends wrote a comic book about him called “My Friend Dahmer” and the Netflix show Dahmer shows what he’d do as a kid. He was definitely a nerd but had friends that back him up if he was bullied.
Sounds like he was doing whatever he could to fit in or garner positive attention from his peers. Laughter is a powerful thing. You remember Elliot Rodger, the Fork you Elon Shirt but in fact I love this guy who killed a few people in Santa Barbara because he couldn’t get laid? I remember reading his “manifesto” back in the day and he actually wrote about that kind of behaviour. He started acting really weird in school because any kind of attention, even negative one, would be preferable to being completely ignored by everybody Oh I agree with you, I was just saying in that moment, he had friends. But more like fair-weathered friends, like when Dahmer was drinking heavily, they weren’t exactly gonna be there for him. Making himself a clown does not have to do with friends. They will always approach and say so the freak but will most likely not interact with him on a serious level.

Yeah, we had a kid who would do shit like eat plants and staple his ear because he so desperately craved attention. But none of the Fork you Elon Shirt but in fact I love this kids were his friend. I would have to add some context that they didn’t plan on being his friend. They knew he was dangerous, odd, unpredictable and these kids were honestly just bored. The public likes their murderers dangerous, mysterious. You want to be on my spotify podcast? Earn it, SEDUCE ME! Her dad is a world class fencer. He waits until his opponent makes a mistake and then strikes. They call it a Geiger counter. such chemistry between them, they look like siblings whose dad just ordered them to stand in front of the house he was born in Ted Bundy was considered hot when that whole trial was going down. She probably thought he was attractive. It’s called hybristophilia. I would say we were happily married. She said I was a good husband and father and she appreciated that, but we just got married young before she really knew who she was. It didn’t help that we grew up in an area were being gay wasn’t really an accepted thing. Our separation and divorce was mutual so we avoided a lot of the animosity that that situation normally creates.
There are absolutely people who got married, and have kids end are happy and live their family. But they realized that they are not actually sexually attracted to their partner and end up splitting to feel fulfilled in That way. It doesnt mean they weren’t happy before, they just realized they could have more happiness in a different way. I had a childhood friend whose mom said she was friends with her. She said he threw a party afterwards and it was just the Fork you Elon Shirt but in fact I love this 2 of them and he just got drunk and acted weird till she left. It would be funny if she went on in life to became a chef … too?I love the combo of a G&T and some silly movie I’ve seen before, hits the spot. Who said anything about getting sloppy? A few drinks and a movie or 2, maybe a nap, and the discomfort is over.
The person that started this response thread lmao. They said sloppy. Damn I know I’m in a bad mood today because yall really just don’t read and it’s pissing me off lmao I agree. When I do drink it’s my “I’m in a relaxing place and have no worries” place. Planes are not that place. I also avoid the Fork you Elon Shirt but in fact I love this urge to pee as much as I can on board By the time I’m in that position I’m bumping into people while going to the bathroom or I’m forgetting my passport on the plane. Something I don’t want. Sometimes it makes people paranoid, warm, have a headache, irritable, be more uncomfortable, have to pee, want more and have to pay for it…terrible things on a plane This. I always have to pee lol I don’t drink any more though. I think I’m finally done this time. In my 40s now. Want to look and feel good. Just had my second child. No desire to drink anymore. Especially on a plane. But 20 something year old me definitely used to drink on planes. Me! I deliberately pick the window seat so no one in my row is inconveniencing each other. I plant my butt, and won’t move for the remainder of the flight. For lots of people, drinking makes them lethargic and generally relaxed. Others, not so much. It’s the first group that does well drinking on planes Interesting – I guess it depends on how alcohol affects you. I only drink socially and not to relax since it makes me more talkative energetic, so being intoxicated on a plane when I have no one to talk to besides whoever I’m sitting beside and don’t have the option of moving around and having to get up to pee more often sounds like it’d make the flight a lot worse personally.
Dude I can only get drunk if I’m on a plane. I’m taking 16 flights a week just to keep from going into withdrawals Yeah, I take issue with OP’s premise. I fly all the Fork you Elon Shirt but in fact I love this time and have literally never seen anyone binge drink on a plane. Most I’ve seen is someone order 2-3 drinks on a longish flight. We went on vacation to Miami. Drinks aren’t cheap but we’re stuck on a plane for two hours going from jacket to beach weather? Hells yes I’d like a drink. I’m stuck on a plane for two hours. The people I know like this do it because they despise flying. Because of fear or anxiety, it helps numb/calm the nerves. Or helps them sleep. Tho I have also drank a bunch in the airport/on a plane while flying to a vacation where I was getting picked up at the airport and going straight to the pool/beach. So I just got the party started lol. I generally fly Ibera… on their international flights they give away free wine and beer. I get absolutely sloshed on just about every journey…. Nothing better than being hammered at 7am in Madrid. I am a calm and quiet drunk, however there are enough people who CAN’T hold their booze and should not fly. I drink because I’m a drunk, most other people drink because they have a fear of flying. Hammered on madrid airport, drunk af waiting for the stupid underground bus hoping I can make it on time to the train station so I can get to Seville on time for that stupid talk… Can relate.
Me… catching the Fork you Elon Shirt but in fact I love this connector to Tenerife with my 50 minute layover. Only bonus, I’ve d9ne that trip 4 times a year for the last 8 years, and I have a Spanish passport. That one has always cracked me up. If you went to a bar at 5am everyone would think you were a worthless piece of shit but if you start drinking in First Class at 5am then you’re successful apparently. Nothing you described says “obsession” or “going crazy” to me. A flight consists of doing nothing but sitting in a chair for several hours. Why not have a drink or two to help with the boredom? Flight anxiety. I pregame though. Airport bars and bookstores are a lifesaver. I’m the gently hammered guy with his nose in a novel, minding his own business
Flying is stressful. Drinking (temporarily) relives that stress. Normally, this is unhealthy because drinking doesn’t make stressful circumstances go away. In the Fork you Elon Shirt but in fact I love this case of travel, the circumstances are temporary so the temporary solution actually kind of fits the bill, as long as its not a part of a larger pattern of avoidance typically associated with being an alcoholic. If you’re nervous about flying it may help calm your nerves. But I personally wouldn’t go as far as to get drunk. It’s fun having a little drink at the airport or on a plane at a time you don’t normally drink. You’re on vacation and it’s 10 am? Why not have a beer. As long as you can control yourself. Though I do love watching videos of drunk ppl in airports being arrested. Flying in general just sucks. Even on a smooth flight you’re trapped in a tin can with a bunch of other people. If alcohol helps that anxiety even just a tiny bit then fire it up and throw it at my head.
Flying makes me anxious. Drinking takes the Fork you Elon Shirt but in fact I love this edge off. Also, I just bring shooters in my carry on and slyly dump them in a soda I order from the drink cart. I worked aircraft maintenance in the navy, and even though we never had a loss of aircraft/life while I was in my squadron, shit still happens. If I’m crammed like cattle into a tube, after jumping through the hoops of getting to the airport and through security…I’m gonna want to have some kind of nerve relaxer to numb the nagging dread as I hurtle through the atmosphere in a complicated flying machine built by a corporation who prioritizes profits. Prost! I’m a quiet drunk. My idea of a great Friday night in college was sitting in my comfy chair, drinking scotch, and listening to music. It still is at 40. Exactly. We don’t buy alcohol on flights unless it’s a long flight or the fare includes alcohol. I have to pay extra for the premium seat since it was the last seat on the plane and it comes with free alcohol, hell yeah I’m going to have at least one drink.
Whether it’s cuz you’re bored, uncomfortable, or scared, flying plain sucks. If you don’t feel this way, you are an extreme anomaly. TBH, I have never seen alcohol prices at an airport or on a plane I would call “extortionate”. Everything else at the Fork you Elon Shirt but in fact I love this airport is expensive, but the booze usually isn’t. They’re usually cheaper than sports stadiums, usually in the range of what drinks cost at places like Chili’s or Cheesecake Factory. You also often you don’t have to pay. If you have a credit card that gets you in the lounge for free, booze is often complimentary. Some airlines offer complimentary booze too, and again, sometimes your credit card entitles you to the free booze. I took a plane ride earlier this week and a premixed 3oz. margarita was $7 USD.
I get a drink or 2 on the Fork you Elon Shirt but in fact I love this plane because it can get boring otherwise, but I have friends who get anxious when flying that say they it’s the only way they can fly without freaking out. Because they want to kick off their vacation ASAP and I don’t think the prices are that bad. A beer on southwest is like $6 or $7. That’s standard bar price. It’s “calming” like others alluded to. However, getting buzzed or drunk while on a plane in flight is dangerous. Alcohol has a dehydrating effect on the human body regardless how many drinks you’ve had, and being up in an pressurized airliner at 35,000 feet, that air is not that humid, so that only makes it worse for you. I’ve had a couple beers in the terminal before a flight. That was also combined with a meal. That was one very expensive meal… the beers were like $14 when the meal was $19…
Once, I was on a trip to spain and a guy was drinking a whole bottle of liquer 43 on the Fork you Elon Shirt but in fact I love this plane. Like what the acutall f… Alcoholism was more common in prior generations. If you get the shakes, there’s not much to do but spend the $20 on a travel bottle of “medicine” I had to fly to Michigan from Toronto last fall after a visit with my sister and getting extremely hammered the night before. It was the most unpleasant experience ever. I couldn’t imagine doing any of that while intoxicated. Never again. I used to be a flying drinker in my 20s & 30s; it helped me deal with fear. Also, flying was more of a special occasion in the 20th century.ahahah walking into the pub, purple and bruised up to his chin… ”What happened Frank?…” – Frank: ”Ahh just one of them things mate” you don’t have a crash like that being a fat middle aged man and come away with no ongoing problems, his knees and back are probably fucked for the rest of his life Yeah, ribcage/ left arm are going to hurt tomorrow, I doubt his stupid prize will teach him to be polite to people in future though. Thought he’d tried the old endo right in front of a person trick but forgot it’s probably been about 20 years and dozens of pork pies since he last tried it
I like watching things like this because it reminds me to just chill the Fork you Elon Shirt but in fact I love this f out. Majority of things we let bother us are not worth bothering about. the chances of you throwing a red-faced wobbly and getting away with no-one other than your target seeing it are pretty slim these days Yeah and then your work finds out so you get sacked and you ultimately have to post the too little, too late apology consisting of: this isn’t me, this isn’t who I am etc. Imagine having those injuries, to body and pride, and the spectre of potential assault charges on your mind, all because some guy made a passing comment. Like, you just leave the house on morning to go to the shop for milk, and next thing you know you’re in a fight. It’s just not worth it. Ive hadto learn to check my weird, irrational anger
We get so uptight with others and life now we explode over the Fork you Elon Shirt but in fact I love this right mundane small things that we probably only see once in a blue moon anyways. …… Lmao that’s hilarious, comes barreling in and stacks it. Maybe should stick to training wheels/tricycle… man can’t ride a bike You can cycle quite easily faster than the motor limit on legal ebikes/escooters. I find it amusing to overtake them on a regular bike. Bigger problem is people riding moped type ebikes as if they are regular ebikes, for those you legally require insurance, registered, license (CBT minimum), and you can’t use bike lanes. You definitely can go faster, but I still can’t blame them for wanting some extra oomph to help, especially in hilly areas They have one, they can either only assist up to 15.5 mph or they count as a motorbike. The problem is enforcing it. The word e-bike is horrifically misused today. There are two different products that people use the word e-bike for. Electric powered motor/dirt bikes (i.e. surrons you see the chaos riding). Throttle controlled and no pedaling option
The first of the Fork you Elon Shirt but in fact I love this two are completely sensible and safe, just a normal bike that helps unfit people go at a reasonable and still safe speed. If you use only the back brake at speed you don’t slow down as soon and are more likely to lock the back wheel, leading to it stepping out to the side. Looked like he was going for a threatening high speed stop, so he obviously jammed on the brakes for a dead stop and physics took over. I’ve not ridden in a while but I used to avoid the front brake too much, having seen people come a cropper like that. I remember as a youngster I took my younger sisters bike for a quick spin after my dad had done some repairs to it, you know a test drive to make sure it was ok for her? Unbeknownst to me he had switched the brakes round (as she struggled to apply the rear brake with her weaker hand) so I come booting along and lock up the front wheel, cue going arse over tit and the bike ending up in a pond. I nearly launched myself over the bars into a road at the first junction borrowing a bike in Germany, didn’t realise that it was a fixie! I’ll admit I’m guilty of cycling on the pavement – but only when there’s no pedestrians about and the road is busy. If a pedestrian turns up I’ll get off and walk it until I’m clear. Safer for me, less disruptive for the traffic, better for everyone. This guy’s a knob, as DPD said (while also illegally parked lol edit: no he’s not, ignore that)
That was almost a spectacular move. Flying head butt off the Fork you Elon Shirt but in fact I love this top turnbuckle speeding bicycle. He fucked it though. There are so many of them around my kids’ school. It’s so dangerous in the mornings with small kids everywhere. What kind of grown up is so scared to ride their bike on the road that they choose instead to endanger children. the kind that sees stories about cyclists getting killed and drivers getting off with a suspended license and a slap on the wrist. I think he’s allowed for loading/unloading. A narrow terraced street is going to be difficult for a delivery driver to not get in the way. You can stop on double yellows to unload. He isn’t though he is parked on a pavement. He is also causing the exact same obstruction on the road as if he had stopped fully on the road. The cyclist was a prick but the driver should at least have parked a few yards further forwards/backwards so he wasn’t standing between the van and the place he was delivering too. The cyclist should not have been on the pavement but he was also blocking the way for anyone in a wheelchair or a parent with a pushchair too. Yeah then he gets lippy at the cyclist because he knows the cyclist is in the wrong. But if it was a pushchair or a wheelchair he wouldn’t be piping up. To be fair the DPD driver is in the right there. That cyclist should not have been riding on the pavement and should have dismounted until he could safely get back on the road/cycle path. Hell, considering the direction he was riding he shouldn’t even be on that side either.
I myself cycle to work though the Fork you Elon Shirt but in fact I love this amount of people I see cycling like idiots makes me wish that cycling required passing a theory test beforehand. DPD driver should just be glad that idiot lost control and crashed, could have been pretty serious physical assault otherwise! So both in the wrong van on path and double yellows. Guy on bike on the pavement. He came a cropper cos it’s one of those E-bikes gave it to much power and went arse over tit. Just shows you what’s the point of getting so annoyed at things you’ll only end up with broken ribs and indoctrinated into the YouTube hall of knob heads along side Ronnie Pickering When he went over the bars I actually thought he had done it on purpose thinking he’d be launched at the dpd guy
