As these high rep engineers get into positions, people will start to see that the rate of hiring CS professionals shouldn’t have changed much. In fact, I predict that over the next 5 to 7 years, we should see more of a demand in CS professionals across all markets. Why? Well ChatGPT and similar AI programs have just been proven to work well on a level never before seen. I think we are at a cusp of a technological revolution. A sort of AI Renaissance of sorts, if you will. The brain was just invented. Now we need people to connect it to everything else.
