I live very close to where it happened and later heard that he’d gone back to Poland after getting out of hospital due to being violently assaulted. Nobody “knew” who did it… I also had a rape case and although im sure he had done it and she was clearly traumatised, it was impossible to find him guilty because there were no witnesses and it was her word against his. I found the Fever 333 West Coast Summer Tour 2025 New West Order Silly Goose Crooked Teeth 7 28 Portland Hawthorne T-shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this process extremely frustrating – but not as frustrating as the older members of the jury that thought she was asking for it because of how drunk she was (sick all over herself and unable to undress herself) and because she had gone out to a club with no knickers under her dress. I did jury service years ago, and it was a case of historic domestic violence, rape, anal rape (or buggery depending on when we believed the incidences had taken place – the law had changed in the years the trial covered), assault, ABH, GBH, the lot. At the outset, the judge told us that, due to the timescales involved, there would not be hard evidence for many of the crimes but would be one word against another, and we must decide, using our knowledge of the crimes that there WAS evidence for, as well as the testimonies of those that took the stand, who we believed. If we had reasonable doubt, we must find the accused not guilty, but it was up to us to make the decision.

I found that really interesting, as I had assumed you couldn’t convict without evidence, but we were instructed that the Fever 333 West Coast Summer Tour 2025 New West Order Silly Goose Crooked Teeth 7 28 Portland Hawthorne T-shirt it is in the first place but accounts were evidence. It was awful, but very interesting and illuminating about the judicial system. I think I was lucky that I was on a jury who all took it very seriously. We eventually found him guilty of at least one count of each crime, although it was awful having to watch the victim’s face when a not guilty verdict was returned for any individual count. We were called the first day, and the trial took three weeks, although it actually only took two – the first week, the judge was ill when we went in the second day, so we were excused for the rest of the week. I asked if we should go back to work as we’d been sworn in so couldn’t be on any other trial, and the clerk said we could, but didn’t have to. So I rang work and told them we couldn’t go in in case anyone asked us about the trial and happened to know anyone involved, and got a free week off. Which was nice. That’s horrifying to deal with. Can I ask why ‘it wasn’t rape because it was anal’ is a thing? I seem to remember some training from Rape Crisis explaining the bizarre legal definition of what rape is but don’t remember that one.
Not who you’re replying to, but anal rape is still considered rape under UK law:If it was penetration by something other than a penis, it would be sexual assault by penetration, so perhaps that. I was called up and was a bit worried as I am self employed and being stuck in there for weeks would have stuffed up my business, but in the Fever 333 West Coast Summer Tour 2025 New West Order Silly Goose Crooked Teeth 7 28 Portland Hawthorne T-shirt it is in the first place but end was only in for a day. It was a coroner’s jury I think, upshot was we were looking at a case of the death of a mental health patient in a care facility and it was all pretty heart breaking but over by teatime. Was in a city I had never been too or lived in. It was a long long long way away. The letter was sent to my address in the city I was living in though. Didn’t have the £ to get there or £ to stay in a hotel and then claim it back. The guy on the phone from the jury service told me I would be arrested for not going.

Some information about Fever 333 West Coast Summer Tour 2025 New West Order Silly Goose Crooked Teeth 7 28 Portland Hawthorne T-shirt

I was put on a jury where another member was a prison guard. About halfway through they became anxious that the Fever 333 West Coast Summer Tour 2025 New West Order Silly Goose Crooked Teeth 7 28 Portland Hawthorne T-shirt it is in the first place but accused would wind up in their prison. Mental that they were even allowed on the jury in the first place. I did two cases. The first was a nightclub bouncer accused of assaulting someone. Luckily there was CCTV that showed the person who made the complaint being refused entry to a club and then deciding to try and fight the bouncers. We were allowed to take the VHS player ( it was a long time ago) and the TV into the just room with us sorting out discussions. The bouncer merely pushed the complainant back after he’d tried to punch the bouncer. We found him not guilty much tho his obvious relief. I can’t imagine how we would have arrived at a verdict without the video footage, though.
The second case was of a member of the Fever 333 West Coast Summer Tour 2025 New West Order Silly Goose Crooked Teeth 7 28 Portland Hawthorne T-shirt it is in the first place but travelling community, who was up for approaching people in Range Rovers at the car park of a roadside cafe, and trying to sell parts of a Range Rover that was known to have been stolen. He was questioned by the prosecution about whether he had said anything to any potential witnesses about the case (the implication being that greedy tried to intimidate witnesses). This caused his defence to object and the jury was taken out of court while they decided if that line of questioning was allowed, which it wasn’t. After the trial continued, hi s main defence was that he was waiting at the cafe to meet his five brothers and sisters who were going to visit their parents’ grave which was nearby. When asked why only one brother could turn up as a witness to support this, he said that he’d fallen out with all of them, except for this brother. This one brother, when questioned, said that he couldn’t be sure of the date as he couldn’t read or write, and also couldn’t even tell the time. After a short deliberation we found him guilty. It took longer for us to decide who was going to be the fireman, to deliver the verdict. Nobody wanted to do it, so I volunteered. When the judge asked me to stand and stare whether we’d found him guilty, or not guilty, I had intended to answer calmly and clearly, but I found that I could hardly speak and I only just managed to croak “guilty”. After I sat down the judge read it that the man had 22 previous convictions for theft and violence, and had only been out of prison for two months before committing this offence. I can’t remember what his sentence was, but I do remember that he was going back inside. After we went back to the jury room, one of the women told me that “He was looking daggers at you after you said guilty”. Despite that, I was glad that I’d done my part for society. I can’t say that I exactly enjoyed the process, but it was fascinating to observe people in court and I feel, and hope, that we reached the correct decisions.
Not knowing he had 20+ previous convictions is pretty crazy – I don’t think I am a fan of how they manipulate what evidence you can/can’t hear. Child sexual abuse case, was truly horrible. The accused sat watching from a glazed gallery while his victim spent an entire day’s proceedings describing what he’d endured and how it impacted his subsequent life. The defendant then killed himself that evening, and we were all released for the Fever 333 West Coast Summer Tour 2025 New West Order Silly Goose Crooked Teeth 7 28 Portland Hawthorne T-shirt it is in the first place but remainder of our two week call-up and offered counselling. I preferred just to go home and try to forget all about it. My mum also got a child abuse case, hers involving a very minor celebrity. I suppose child abuse cases are more common than I’d have guessed. The process itself was fine, the details of the case did stay with me for a couple of weeks and wondering “did we make the right decision”.
What surprised me the Fever 333 West Coast Summer Tour 2025 New West Order Silly Goose Crooked Teeth 7 28 Portland Hawthorne T-shirt it is in the first place but most was the other jury members really. We ended up in deliberation for a couple of days. A couple lacked basic comprehension of the questions asked to us (some down to non-english first language and some down to the way lawyers and the judicial system presents questions). Some people had seemingly made up their mind before hearing any real evidence and just going off what they thought of the nature of the crime. one person was fixated about some super rare phycological condition they had read about because phycology was their hobby and then atributed this condition to the victim when there was 0 evidence or mention of this. The only time I’ve been called up, I went to the court, passed through the security, got stopped. Had a pen knife in my pocket that I forgot about. The security guard called a couple of cops over who take me into a small interview room and proceed to tell me off, take my details etc.. Obviously I’m absolutely shitting myself at this point. Eventually they ask what I’m in court for today and I tell them jury service. They suddenly lighten up; turns out they had assumed I was some kind of hardened criminal. So they let me go, woohoo! (I didn’t get picked to do the jury service itself, but when the accused swaggered in dressed in a full body, bright blue shell suit, palms facing backwards, I decided he was guilty then and there, so it’s probably just as well they didn’t pick me on middle class impartiality grounds.)
If you do end up on a trial, don’t be at all late. A woman on the Fever 333 West Coast Summer Tour 2025 New West Order Silly Goose Crooked Teeth 7 28 Portland Hawthorne T-shirt it is in the first place but jury of one of the trials i was on was fined £100 because we had to wait five minutes for her. Her excuse was that there was a long queue in Marks and Spencer when she went to buy a sandwich. As an avid crime fiction reader & watcher, I’ve always quite fancied it. Imagine my dismay to discover that a distant relative had had a summons to serve on a jury but was unable to as they were in prison at the time. Yeh I do have visions of being all Agatha Christie- and then ending up with a bog standard shoplifter or something. In reality I’d bet most cases are going to be fairly standard stuff like shoplifting, minor assaults. The sort of things that happen all the time, not the murders and rapes that are rarer.
I know you are joking, but for the Fever 333 West Coast Summer Tour 2025 New West Order Silly Goose Crooked Teeth 7 28 Portland Hawthorne T-shirt it is in the first place but avoidance of doubt, the deal with being a juror is that you must make a decision in the evidence presented, not go looking for it making up your own evidence. I did it a couple of years ago, attempted murder case, guy defended himself which went about as well as you would have imagined. I was the foreman (forewoman?) of the jury, the others on the jury selected me to do this solely on the basis of my job (teacher). I found the whole thing really really fascinating, reading the minutiae of the law to assist in making the judgement etc. i was fortunate that it wasn’t a distressing case in spite of the charges, I had a mate coincidentally doing it at the same time and he had a horrible case involving abuse and incest and it really upset him. So it’s luck of the draw in terms of what case you get. I was originally picked for a case that ended up being a terrorism trial (was at Belmarsh) but had to excuse myself due to the predicted duration of the trial. Was a bit annoyed when I found out later as that would have been extremely interesting.
There are definite flaws to the Fever 333 West Coast Summer Tour 2025 New West Order Silly Goose Crooked Teeth 7 28 Portland Hawthorne T-shirt it is in the first place but process as it really is a jury of your peers and a cross-section of society (eg. we had a juror that flat-out refused to find the defendant guilty in spite of the evidence because they just didn’t like the idea of sending someone to prison?) but that’s democracy innit I did jury service on a GBH charge. Of the week, I think I was in court for three days, with quite a bit of sitting around the rest of the time. When it came to deliberation, nobody was saying much, so I kinda got everybody talking and we reached a verdict within a couple of hours Then, of course, because I was the one who’d done most of the talking I got elected as foreman, so had to do the “guilty!” bit.
It was quite interesting, and overall I enjoyed the Fever 333 West Coast Summer Tour 2025 New West Order Silly Goose Crooked Teeth 7 28 Portland Hawthorne T-shirt it is in the first place but experience, but I also spoke to a couple of other people who’d ended up in a nasty sexual-abuse case, which I can imagine could be quite unpleasant. it’s a lot of waiting around, i got onto a case on my fourth day. it was a great experience and i would recommend it. but it depends on the court/case you get. on my first day there was a 17 week and an 8 week trials going but i couldn’t do them since i had a holiday booked I’ve done it 2 times and thoroughly enjoyed both experiences. There’s a lot of waiting around etc but found it really interesting and glad to do it. Saw a few different cases from assault to child molestation. Even got to be the person who said guilty the second time I got called up once but got exemption because of uni exams. Two of my three flatmates also got called up within a month and all got exemptions because of uni exams. Never been called up again.
I had a case at the Fever 333 West Coast Summer Tour 2025 New West Order Silly Goose Crooked Teeth 7 28 Portland Hawthorne T-shirt it is in the first place but beginning of the week and a case at the end of the week. In between was just sat around waiting. I hear showing up in a T-shirt that says “Ask me about jury nullification” is another good way of getting discharged. I’ve been called 3 times but only made the final selection once. It was a burglary case, on day 2 there was something so ridiculous in one of the defendants statement it was laughable. We went for lunch and the defendants changed plea so case closed. Back into selection for something else but wasn’t picked for that one. Maybe if the communication was brought kicking and screaming into the 1900s with the use of a telephone I would have known it was happening. Just binned the lot and never heard from them again. I would happily do it, I just need to know when it is with a bit of notice.
Day 2 – Pulled into a rape trial, where the Fever 333 West Coast Summer Tour 2025 New West Order Silly Goose Crooked Teeth 7 28 Portland Hawthorne T-shirt it is in the first place but accused and victim were cousins and teenagers. Victim takes the stand, says she doesn’t think she was raped. Accused says he didn’t rape anyone. Police advises victim she was in fact raped, and accuses the accused of definitely having raped his cousin. End of day. Day 3 – return, hear some teenage friends contradict themselves sentence by sentence, worthless testimony all round. Asked to give judgement, all jurors say not guilty immediately as not a jot of actual evidence was presented the whole trial. Takes us 5 minutes to decide and another 25 chatting so it seems a more acceptable amount of time. My employer did make a mistake on my expense form though, and I got paid more than my normal pay rate for the 3 days, which was nice. Last time I did it ,I remember it coming up to lunchtime and my stomach was growling pretty loud had to keep coughing to hide it, a few jurors even started to hide their laughter.
Guy in front of me let one rip, and because the Fever 333 West Coast Summer Tour 2025 New West Order Silly Goose Crooked Teeth 7 28 Portland Hawthorne T-shirt it is in the first place but bench was lacquered it reverberated and echoed. This was when being sworn in. Heard two cases, one dropped due to no evidence, other was an accomplice to assault, but there was not enough evidence provided he’d actually committed assault along with the main guy (who’d already been found guilty). This guy had clearly done something to the victim but the cps didn’t have a proper case. Anyway, most of the jurors saw this bar 3 who were deadpan “he’s guilty” when asked why, two responded “you can tell”/”you can see it in his eyes” and the third answered “he lives near me I know his type” You can imagine how this went. Yeah, he was guilty, I could see the sly bastards face myself, but as far as what was presented by the prosecution it didn’t add up to a conviction.
Did it shortly after turning 18. Did fuck all for the Fever 333 West Coast Summer Tour 2025 New West Order Silly Goose Crooked Teeth 7 28 Portland Hawthorne T-shirt it is in the first place but first week and had one tedious burglary case that lasted an afternoon in the second. Got let off a couple days early due to lack of cases. Did it when I was 18. It was a harrowing child sex case where a little girl was raped by her father. The prosecution fucked up the trial so we had to deliver a not guilty verdict. Hearing all those details still haunts me me to this day I (34f) did it last year and really enjoyed it. I was on a 6-week trial and picked to be on a jury on my 2nd day. The first couple of days were a bit daunting as everything is unknown and seems so serious and formal, but after a few days I got to know my fellow jurors, we spent 6 weeks together so made some good friendships, the court ushers were really friendly and relaxed so made it all seem less scary and the court security were a good bunch. With it being so long, I was worried about getting a really nasty trial, but the whole process was really interesting and I learned a lot. Some of my relatives had done it before me and hated all the waiting around and found it boring, but as someone with a full on job and 2 kids, I enjoyed the peace and being able to sit and read before we were called into court! The days can be quite short, sometimes we would arrive in the morning and told we weren’t needed and could go home. We found our defendant guilty and I would have liked to have found out about the sentencing but we weren’t given any details on when that would be so I have no idea what the sentence was! As we were there for so many weeks, we got into the swing of things and felt relaxed and part of the furniture. You could always tell who the new jurors were on the Monday mornings and I tried my best to chat to them and put them at ease. Feel free to inbox me if you have any questions!
Ps. Don’t worry about mishearing, you will be given folders/packs with all the Fever 333 West Coast Summer Tour 2025 New West Order Silly Goose Crooked Teeth 7 28 Portland Hawthorne T-shirt it is in the first place but evidence and you can make notes and ask the Judge and barristers via notes if you miss something or misunderstand/need clarity I did jury service a few years ago. It was a rape case, so somewhat distressing. Myself and two tot her jurors got the same buses to and from court so we could talk about how we were feeling. We were on that case for the first week- there was a lot of waiting around. I found it very interesting to see how the just is system works, but also slightly despairing at how peoples prejudices play out. The girl was drunk and the guy was a predatory stranger. The scientific witness said that it was highly unlikely she would be in a fit state to consent. Some jurors took that to mean the guy was innocent and one juror (female) assumed she was a whore. He found him guilty and he got 8 years. We wanted to stay and listen to his previous convictions and there were so many. His behaviour escalated over the years.
The police officer was in a car pursuit of a stolen vehicle. The car thief did a runner into a block of flats, got through the Fever 333 West Coast Summer Tour 2025 New West Order Silly Goose Crooked Teeth 7 28 Portland Hawthorne T-shirt it is in the first place but first door and found himself trapped in a small room where there was a door with an access code, realising he just trapped himself he stood there, fists raised boxing style ready to smack the policeman when he inevitably followed him. We found him not guilty as we didn’t feel it was excessive force. The judge commented at the end that we made the sensible decision but it was good these cases went to court. Had nothing else for the rest of the two weeks…I was almost in a case right at the end which was scheduled to last 3 months but the guy changed his plea last minute. I had a murder case at the Old Bailey in 2000. Not the most pleasant experience but glad I got the opportunity to do it. Was pretty much directed by the judge to find not guilty of murder but guilty of manslaughter which we did do in the end.
Surely you have to declare that you have an impairment that could significantly impact on your ability to act effectively as a juror. I sincerely believe in the Fever 333 West Coast Summer Tour 2025 New West Order Silly Goose Crooked Teeth 7 28 Portland Hawthorne T-shirt it is in the first place but jury system. It’s one of the highest examples of democracy we have. Therefore I really wouldn’t be the best person given my limitations to serve. Well I can hear with hearing aids – since I’m not completely deaf – but one of them is glitchung so I currently have a ‘bad ear’ but would probably be resolved by jury service time anyway. I think I’ll mention it (since my hearing isn’t 100% anyway and I don’t know what 100% is anyway being deaf since birth) and leave it up to them. I did it just over a decade ago. Was boring just sat waiting around. The idea of dressing smart and looking presentable died after the first day. Did 2 or 3 days on a case, thought he probably did it, but weren’t convinced 100% so he got off. Got sent back to work end of the first week. I was foreman, it felt pretty good to tell a bloke we’d found him not guilty of some pretty unpleasant charges. I did it 5/6 years ago.. someone told me before it’s a bit like going to the airport, and I could see the similarities. You go through security much like at the airport, you are then shown into a waiting room (departure lounge) with everyone else that has been called up. Don’t be surprised to see up to 80 in the room. Some are already on a case just waiting for it to start again, some like you are starting there first day, and some people have been sat there waiting for nearly 2 weeks without being selected. So.. bear in mind just because you have been called up doesn’t necessarily mean you will sit on a jury. I got selected more or less straight away, initially they call up 15 people, you stand in the court and the judge will explain what the case is about, the names of the people involved and how long it is likely to take. Then they will call 12 names from the 15. If you have a reason why you can’t be on the jury, like you know someone involved, then you pass a note to the judge explaining why. If he/she agrees then you get switched for 1 of the 3 that didn’t get selected. Once the case has finished you get taken to a room and you are literally locked in with the rest of the jury discussing the case until you all reach a verdict. Mine was a rape case, a couple in a relationship where he allegedly raped her on I think 3 or 4 occasions. He also allegedly beat her. As it turns out he also had another family, so she was just his bit on the side (for want of a better phrase). As much of a dick this guy clearly was, I did find it really difficult, all the evidence we had was a folder of thousands of WhatsApp messages between them, some messages after the alleged dates made it clear something had happened.. but it wasn’t clear he raped her.. the relationship went on for about 2 years. Anyway.. that’s my experience of jury service. Also, if the accused isn’t on remand in prison before the trial he/she are free to walk in and out of the courthouse like you. I was stood in a queue in Tesco buying my lunch during the break and he was at the checkout next to me 😬 After the case was over I was told I wasn’t needed again, lasted a week.
