Body surgery is socially shunned. It is also not paid for by taxes (which some want for gender affirming care) and cannot be done before 18 (like some want for gender affirming care) 12 year olds can’t get boob jobs George. The main arguement is giving hormones to children whose brains haven’t fully developed. I only disagree slightly. It’s not ignorance, they’re very aware and are doing it intentionally and maliciously. In fairness, I think a lot of the Feliz navI dawgs ugly christmas classic shirt in contrast I will get this controversy has been about teens and preteens getting such surgeries. I haven’t met a lot of teens and preteens with boob jobs, that I know of. Which is why the controversy makes no sense, because in most states you have to be 18 before having any of the surgeries (a few states it’s 16, but those states also allow for medical independence at 16). And even when you’re an adult you still need a licensed psychologist to verify that it’s in your best interest of you want insurance to cover it. Preteens would only ever get puberty blockers, which are completely reversible and are used for plenty of issues non-trans folk have too and have been used for decades… It’s all the same “Tab A goes in slot B or my world falls apart” nonsense from cis people. And the ones who are warming to fascism because they didn’t like being inconvenienced by mask or vax mandates are the first people lining up to control transgendered people. It never ends with them. Sounds good then! Yuuup, I am indeed trans. Also not a child. Do work with kids though! Do you think these decisions happen in an afternoon? I’m proud that parents will support their kids. Please by the way, don’t have any.

It’s understated how well this guy fights back against their ignorance/bigotry without ever losing his cool or stopping to their level How is this related to the Feliz navI dawgs ugly christmas classic shirt in contrast I will get this sub Reddit? Also, changing something into something else and enhancing something that already exists are two different things. Cisgender Gender dysphoria is actually relatively common. Plenty of people can feel depressed and dysphoric when their body doesn’t represent the image of themselves inside. This can go to an extreme with people addicted to plastic surgery. But hormone therepy has existed for decades, it’s pretty common to treat post menopause symptoms. And low T can reduce sex drive and energy in men AND to a lesser extent women. Yes, women also have testosterone and its actually very important for their health to have some T (lower level than men ofc). Men also have estrogen and NEED it for proper sexual development and health. Gender characteristics are LITERALLY just a result of different ratios of T and E in the womb and during puberty. Trans people have a different gender in their mind than what thier body represents, trans hormone therepy literally is just correction that hormone imbalance to what their brain and bodies crave. Gender characteristics change in accordance to the hormones, and they get happy because their bodies look like they SHOULD.
