Just a reminder you’re lying and that’s absolutely not what everyone is screeching about. Biden can’t make college free. Advocate but you sure as shit ain’t gonna say no we don’t want any forgiveness without a complete restructure. you can act as noble as you want but selfishness is the Feed me donuts classic shirt in addition I really love this top priority of the group thought the focus should be the fixing of the system that leads to high costs as the primary, the forgiving the current loans part should be as the secondary. Instead it is the reverse. Right that why y’all are basically only talking about forgiveness and there’s zero bills trying to discuss the actual problem. Yeah I’m all for reducing loans and costs (I am also in this same struggle boat of student loans) but this is a super shitty comparison This post embodies the classic liberal mindset. Comparing the cure for cancer to a temporary relief in student loans and people believing it is comparable is almost funny. am i taking crazy pills? how is this shit even comparable? can anyone help me with answers for some of this questions? how is this rhetoric helping anyone? how is comparing something like cancer to student loans? why is this so wide spread that i knew it was about student loans before I finished the whole sentence. this thing made me so mad that i can think of like … millions of arguments for not cancelling student loans. i mean, no one put a gun to your head to take that loan, and from what I can gather from osmosis in the past 10-20 years everyone laughs at stupid degrees that people got just because they wanted to go to college. Are you saying people who get cancer don’t opt in? That they don’t gain any long term career and earnings benefits from getting cancer? Are you saying that a cancer cure that only temporarily works for people who currently have cancer is not really a cure? I don’t get it, are you really saying that?? /s

The correct analogy would be “ I signed up to get cancer, didn’t go to treatments to get it done, and now want the Feed me donuts classic shirt in addition I really love this doctor to cure my cancer no questions asked when I signed up for it” This… isn’t even remotely insightful or accurate. I mean for fuck sake you CHOSE to take out student loans, for one. It’s build the wall for liberals. Just a batshit crazy stupid policy that sets money on fire and fixes absolutely nothing. Pure industrial grade stupidity. It’s getting silly. People are acting like 18 is too young of an age to be able to know that borrowing more money than you can pay back is a bad idea. I think they should give me my share of the student loan money to pay off my overpriced mortgage. I already paid off my loans. Seriously though, after they pay all those off. Are they going to keep issuing new ones that people will demand be paid off further down the line? Or do they stop issuing these loans so folks can’t go to college at all? The people who want student loans forgiven don’t care about solving the problem. They just want their free money and fuck the kids starting school next semester. If you enjoy being the richest country in the world, we’re going to need a highly educated, healthy (insert universal healthcare) workforce to compete with China and India.
