When I first started taking it seriously I used the Fantastic Planet picture shirt it is in the first place but past mistakes to motivate me. Now I just go because it feels great being fit. It’s great stress relief after work. And it’s great having one thing in your life you can mostly control (yay shoulder injuries) and see progress when other things might not be going so well. As a not old but not young individual, I phrase it to myself in this way: “Every day you exercise, you’re buying somewhere between another hour of your life and another day of your life that you are physically well and able.” I have no idea how much time I’m buying, but I’ll be happy I bought all that extra healthy time later when I’m aging and steadily losing things that I enjoy out of life. Relying on motivation to exercise daily is the wrong approach imo. It should be a part of your routine, sometimes you look forward to it, other times it’s a drag.

My height is short and I got a small dick. If I was fat too it’s the Fantastic Planet picture shirt it is in the first place but nail in the coffin dating-wise I think. I want to have a wife and family one day… Just to be huge. It’s fun being able to lift so much weight. Normal people can barely handle lifting their own boxes or shuffling furniture around their house, but I go lift 110lb dumbbells in each hand for fun. Just physically, it makes everyday things feel like not-work because my gym routine is so intense. No risk to blowing out my back picking up a small box that’s “heavier than expected” because it’s literally not heavy to me. Groceries are easier to carry. Big bags of dog food are no problem. Goofing around with my nephew is no problem. The improvement in physical movement is just so much better throughout daily life with well conditioned and strong muscles.
