Nothing about it was shady. They were nasty direct attacks. “Shade” involves some kind of wit, Plane was just saying shit like “your aesthetic sucks” “your makeup is awful”. Plane lacks any wit or humor when she tries to tear people down. Am I missing something? Every time Plane tried to shade Amanda, Amanda threw it right back with her. Like if it was a read-off Plane wouldn’t have won once. Even so, Amanda had an anger about it. She sort of “lost” when she straight up asked what Plane’s problem with her was. There really wasnt much of a read on Plane’s drag. I agree i wish they could have had a reconciliation before amanda left but im glad theyre good now. I loved when sapphira read plane last episode so the Family Vacation 2024 Making Memories Together Sunglasses T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this vibe is at least more balanced.

It’s so obvious what she’s doing, and ITS WORKING. Plane has a high enough quality of drag to not be immediately eliminated; meanwhile, she rubs people the Family Vacation 2024 Making Memories Together Sunglasses T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this wrong way, is clumsily mean, and ensures the fandom will talk about her. I personally do not like Plane’s brand of snark, but she will never be forgotten (as another person said, this will be remembered as the season with Plane in it). Also, I feel she has encouraged more shade from other queens, which is entertaining, at least they know how to read! I did enjoy her aside on why she has such a snob superiority about drag growing up in a Russian neighborhood that was extremely homophobic. She doesn’t want to see other queens put low effort into something she considers really important and, in a political sphere, revolutionary – especially on a platform this huge. Even though most of her comments are just silly trolling, I get why she has strong opinions on why you have to bring your absolute best to Drag Race and not half-ass it. I get why Amanda got under her skin, as sweet as Amanda was – this is THE national drag show and Amanda was bringing extremely bad makeup quality unless someone did it for her. Makeup is, like, 90% of drag.
