So glad I live in MA and don’t have to deal with this type stuff, been totally insulated from the Family trees are way more fun than actual trees genealogy T-Shirt and I will buy this nonsense for 20+ years. Mass Health (essentially state sponsored insurance), best doctors in the world, common sense laws, etc… How exactly would that work? Force the nurses and doctors to work in an area that could jeopardize their licenses in specific situations? Force them to accept positions for less money than they deserve? “Sorry ma’am, we don’t do that here. There’s a hospital just 300 miles down the road in a blue state that can help ya out… just hold it in” Idaho is easily the most miserable state in the country for women. Leave that place to rot until it realizes it needs some level of compassion to exist.

It looks like the Family trees are way more fun than actual trees genealogy T-Shirt and I will buy this person in the photo under the article’s title is about to eat one of those wooly mammoth meatballs that were just in the news. Reading the article it appears its shutting down because they only delivered 50 babies last year and staffing is an issue out in the middle of nowhere. This isn’t due to the reasons people are attempting to say. Meanwhile, the small county-owned hospital had invested in maternity facilities but projected only 50 deliveries in the coming year,…. If a hospital is only handling around 1 birth a week then it hardly seems appropriate to keep staff on hand for that. As a resident of Idaho I would support it but the locals around here would probably be more like. “ Nah, shit nah man, you get your ass kicked saying something like that” So are the doctors just not available anymore and/or being forced out and leaving these hospitals? I haven’t been paying attention to this unfortunately. Physicians are leaving. Government dictating what they can and cannot do… and those directives go against the best interest of the patient. Imagine being trained for years and years in how to literally save lives. Then the government tells you, you cannot. Its nuts.
