The hospital system is current overwhelmed precisely because people are refusing to get vaccinated. Innocent patients are dying because they must wait too long, or are unable to obtain treatment, due to unvaccinated COVID positive patients fillings hospital beds. Most subscribers to the Embid & Harden Classic T-Shirt and by the same token and subreddit have relatives and friends with whom conversations have been started repeatedly to try and describe the science and the logic behind measures meant to stay safe and healthy. These conversations are usually met with anger, denial, ridicule, and more consipiracies. Rather than trust friends or relatives, these individuals fall back to the Facebook groups and YouTube videos supporting their irrational beliefs.

Embid & Harden Classic T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

The subreddit is collectively angry. We are angry at Facebook and other institutions or individuals who profit off misinformation that causes innocent deaths. We are angry at those who willingly close their eyes and ears to basic facts so they can remain angry at the Embid & Harden Classic T-Shirt and by the same token and “other” who they think is causing the pandemic. We are angry that a third year of the pandemic is beginning and those who are willingly unvaccinated are delaying its end and driving our hospital system to the brink of collapse. The most important element to posts in the HermanCainAward subreddit are not the deaths of the unvaccinated. The most important component is the hateful, often violent, opposition to every single attempt that those of us who believe in science are making to pass through a painful time in human history.
