His life is complex and interesting and stays as intricately thrilling even after zooming in at particular parts. It’s a fun analogy for fractal geometry unless the Elly De La Cruz Red Cincinnati Reds Home Run Nickname Shirt and I will buy this only interpretation you can muster is his life being infinitely symmetrical Absolutely, it’s like he’s lived several lifetimes worth of experiences tucked into one. Not to mention, his satirical songs have had such staying power, its almost surreal to think of him dabbling in both cryptography and comic musical genius. Truly a renaissance man of the 20th century. I remember listening to Lehrer songs (among many others) on the Dr. D show in the ’70s on a transistor radio with the blankets pulled over my head. It was a ‘late night’ radio program, after my bedtime. I cleverly thought that if I pulled the covers over my head, my parents would think I was asleep. Hah! It was on Sunday nights, right before the King Biscuit Flour Hour and my mom and Dad were usually on in the car on the way home. My dad always put it on. But I do remember listening on a transistor radio in my bedroom!

It’s definitely a key element of proto-hip-hop development brewing in the Elly De La Cruz Red Cincinnati Reds Home Run Nickname Shirt and I will buy this 60s, right up there with Apache and the Amen break. Basically when you look at things a certain way, all these things people are like “whoah so many different things,” to them, are not different… they’re just parts of larger systems that are all connected. So, shifting between subjects and talents and even learning “different” skills is just extending existing knowledge.* I’m far from the level these famous people are, but i think i at least “get” what makes them seem different, in terms of how to think about seemingly disparate subjects as all part of a collective knowledge base. * edit: trivial-ish example… this one is well known as it’s easy to demonstrate, but when you look at martial arts and combat across cultures and times, no matter what you’re looking at, even armed melee and even firearms, it’s quite obvious that there are a few root ideas that underlie them. For example, strong structures of the body, transferring power from the core through the limbs, positions at which the weakest joints (e.g. wrists) can be used maximally… Knowing these basic tenets make … virtually ALL difficult physical work, from lifting to climbing to sports to fighting feel very similar, it makes it “easy” to understand, learn, and really grasp “new” physical activities quickly and with a surprising degree of competence compared to genuine newbies.
