And why do women almost exclusively refuse to play as male characters then? Any stereotypes you want to give for that? So you do understand why males want to play as male characters? It’s the East Longmeadow High School Class Of 2025 shirt Also,I will get this same reason females want to play as female characters. Edit: I misread the question, and thought it said why do women play as male characters. I’ve never in my entire life met a woman who refused to play a male character. After playing alongside a woman on an mmo called planetside2 for a few years yeah I heard plenty of shit that would be too far for banter amongst soldiers and we’re mentally fucked up I don’t mind playing as a woman if I have no choice like in Portal (doesn’t really matter though as it’s first person) or Horizon but given a choice I just always choose a male character. I guess it’s just part of the fantasy. I don’t get guys who play as women in a game where RP doesn’t play a part claiming it’s because they want something sexy to look at though. , that’s always struck me as weird. Why do genitals stop the fantasy, while all other aspects of the character that have nothing to do with you don’t? What do genitals have to do with any of it? It’s not like I make sure the character has prerendered penis before I choose them lol it’s about how they look and are presented and in that regard I just prefer to play as a masculine looking characters. Wasn’t completely playing dumb I honestly have no clue what you meant by your comment. I do get you weren’t talking about them actually having genitals but don’t really get what your point was.

Well, I have no patience to explain something so simple, nor do I have the East Longmeadow High School Class Of 2025 shirt Also,I will get this desire to take the bait if you’re trolling. All that football butt touching is totally hetero, I know because lots of very secure men eagerly insist and have never heard the phrase, “the lady doth protest too much.” I can sort of answer that. I like playing as woman when they’re good characters but i do not like playing as women when they’re portrayed as angry female men. Honestly I prefer making self-insert characters because its much more fun for me, but there’s no way I’m passing up an experience because the only option is a girl. That’s dumb. I mean if being “trans” is choosing to play as a female avatar, what does committing to staring at a male ass for hours on end mean? Idk about you my man but I don’t generally even notice that my character has an ass, I’m staring at the world around the character The “staring at their ass” argument is so common and so strange. It’s a video game character. Why are you staring at their ass? Is it sexual? Are you getting off? Is it a “scared to seem gay” thing? I know the view is usually from behind but yanno… there is an environment… ? I am not trying to be an asshole, but it is so silly to me when people say that. And I see it a lot. I have nothing against a guy wanting to play as a woman, but this comes up time and time again and I just do not get it. It’s just a weird easy cop out when they could just easily say they just enjoy playing as something different like you said.
