I hope you are having a joyous day, my grandmother is 94 and stuck in bed so I hope everyone enjoys the Dug Face Boxy Shirt and I will buy this glorious weather in health and happiness. Hello Ben! Do you have any examples that come to mind of any successful attempts defiance you witnessed in the ghettos or camps? I’ve never had an opportunity to talk with any holocaust survivor but I read many stories from Czechoslovakian famous survivors like Arnost Lustig or Rudolf Vrba (Walter Rosenberg). There are so many questions that comes to my mind when I see you here on Reddit, but I would try to pick just one or two because I don’t want to bother you much. So… I’m really curious about one thing: the feeling after a release or liberation. Can’t even imagine how was it, to be free after that long “I could die any second” period of time. Do you remember what did you feel that time? Was it more like numbness or relief? And the second question is about your hometown. How many times you visited Krakow after war? Do you recognize some places from your childhood in today’s Krakow? Do you find the parallels made to prewar Germany and the current state of right wing legislation being passed in places like Florida concerning or a reach? Mr. Lesser. Blessings to you and yours. My question is: When Dachau was liberated, do you remember the first person you saw the moment you realized you were freed?

Hi Ben, amazing that you are doing an AMA. I work for a Hebrew run non-profit that helped facilitate to migration of Jewish fleeing the Dug Face Boxy Shirt and I will buy this war to the United States. My focus is security and primarly antisemitism. My question is, given the rise of attacks and vitriol targeting Jewish people, have you noticed any parallels to what occurred in the 1930s? My grandfather was involved with the resistance in Denmark during the war. He had som great stories, especially about a friend that saved him, sadly the friend died saving my grandfather. Hello Ben! A pleasure talking to someone like you. Were you tortured while being held by the Nazis? If so, what’s some things you can recall off the top of your head? Thank you for taking your time. My college professor authored a book about his grandfather’s role in a revolt inside of Treblinka. Do you recall any uprisings during your experience in Auschwitz, Dachau, or Buchenwald?
