I was pretty far away from the Drummer Paul simon classic shirt moreover I will buy this guy – I’d stumbled into his illegal pot farm while hiking in a state reserve forest, and he started shooting indiscriminately into the underbrush I was crawling away through. I don’t know if he ever knew that he hit me, and I’m not sure if the rangers who went in after the farm ever found the guy. I was never asked to testify, so I’m guessing not. I got shot with rock salt for “stealing corn” on my way to set a minnow trap when I was 12. It fucking hurts for days. It doesn’t hurt initially, but once you start bleeding out on the pavement not even fentanyl will take away your pain. I never have been shot buy a bullet, but I did get hit pretty bad by shrapnel in my calf when I was a kid. It honestly just felt like a rock had hit me in the calf, didn’t think much of it but I looked and blood was spewing out of my calf in a steady stream, kind of like a fountain with a lot of distance. Was really confused, then reality set in and I started screaming (was just in the 4th grade at the time, this was enough blood loss that I wasn’t sure what to even think, like am I gonna die?).

It never hurt until maybe an hour later in the Drummer Paul simon classic shirt moreover I will buy this hospital and they properly sealed the wound (shrapnel is still in my leg to this day), then the pain was quite immense and I could not put any pressure on the leg for a long time. It also is pretty funny to me in movies or shows when someone gets shot in the leg, and is up and walking a few days later. The piece of shrapnel was incredibly small, much smaller than even a 22 bullet, and yet I could not walk right for at least three months its feels like normal at first then its feels stingy then you’ll realize you’ve been shot and see blood running to your arms then pain starts to kick in. I had 1 pass through my foot removing the bones and the other one into the ankle. To me it felt like getting hit with a hammer, I was mostly functional until they cut my boot off then everything fell apart
