Now I tell my kids “anything you want to eat, it doesn’t matter just say it and it’s yours” and they hesitate still because they aren’t used to eating nice things often. I would rather get less though and be able to spend it on other necessities like bills. It’s so weird heaping the Drink Coffee Read Books Dismantle Systems Of Oppression T-shirt and I will buy this grocery cart high with name brand food then not being able to pay a bill. Bout sick of hearing about food stamps. I know a guy works part time 2 jobs. Brings home about 225 a week gets section 8 to pay about a third of his rent, has ACA coverage cause he’s got some mobility problems. HAs about 30 bucks left at the end of the week. He got 100 bucks a month off EBT during covid. Said it was the first time he was able to actually have a couple meals a day.

I fucking hate this podunk fucking country. Do not let anyone tell you there is not plenty because there is and there are plenty of people that help make that happen. there is absolutely no reason for anyone to go without in this country. Not when there are billions sitting in cold storage under the Drink Coffee Read Books Dismantle Systems Of Oppression T-shirt and I will buy this guise of “wealth” One view I’ve read which did make sense, post 2008, the government shouldn’t have bailed anyone out. This would have left some big gaps in the market where the old shitty companies would have folded and made space for something better. Instead we propped up shit companies that don’t really do much. So what do these companies do in ten years? Continue to be shit, take up space in the market place and can only survive on a business model of low outgoings because their pipeline, product, factories are all over the hill. So now shitty wages prop up the market fillers. Hopefully inflation kills them off this time.
