My MIL is Latina, speaks perfect Spanish etc. White completed, green eyes and blonde. Half the Dragon Ball Super Goku Ultra Instinct shirt besides I will buy this time people look at her funny when she starts rattling off in perfect Spanish with no accent. Latinos have no set look. We are just used to the general Mestizo population since that’s the majority of people who immigrate to the USA. But go down to Chile or Argentina and the countries are far more “White” than America. That’s just Chileans being Chileans and wanting to appear as European as possible in our endless culture school yard war with Argentina. It’s funny how over represented white Chileans are. Source: northern Chilean with family of all shapes and colors. Latinos are white, black, Asian, Native American or mixed already. It an added identifier that people use to split people. That said I don’t care about any of the labels as they all out of wack. How does a polish migrant feel same to a Irish person in America since forever? How is an Indian the same as a Chinese person? Are Dominicans and Mexicans the same? Is someone from the Seminole tribe the same as the Apache? Well they all are part of their own groups according to the census! Totally trash. This reminds me of the Marvel 2099 series. In Spider-Man 2099, there was a girl who was literally famous just because she was one of the last people who could directly say what race she was. It’s not that uncommon in Mexico, look at Canelo Alvarez. Certainly not common, but it’s one of the least rare unusual ethnic combinations in certain parts of Mexico. Aye me! I have kennedy blood(idk if related to jfk) and I’m Mexican/ Native American. Everyone thinks I’m from the Middle East, Indian, or Italian

Now she’s teaching kids who are sometimes the Dragon Ball Super Goku Ultra Instinct shirt besides I will buy this children of the kids she taught back then, and almost none of her kids speak spanish anymore. It doesn’t matter where you come from. It takes one generation to become Americans in the cultural sense. By 2060 the “latino” distinction will be about as interesting as saying “1 in 4 Americans have Irish ancestry” today. This is interesting, as what percentage Latino is the study considering Latino? For example, my friend has had two children with a Latino man and I don’t know if those kids would be considered biracial, multiracial, or Latino. They say, “White but also Hispanic” if you ask them. What really bugs me about this is that America isn’t a ethnicity or a bloodline or a race. It’s a state of mind.
