I love money. I love having time and money for myself. Plus I’m such an introvert that I’d likely be seen as a deserter. The loss of individuality and freedom that comes with it, if I was to bring a new being into existence I would need to dedicate every inch of my own existence into making sure they would have every opportunity to grow and have aspirations and dreams. I do not which to sacrifice my individuality for someone elses. Maybe it’s selfish, but I enjoy my life. My wife and I want to go around the world, and have cool vacations, and buy all the fun shit we enjoy, we just do. It takes too much time, and too much work. I’d rather not have kids slow down my life. Not to mention the Don’t Judge My Mini Pig I Won’t Judge Your Kids Vintage Sunset T-Shirt it is in the first place but incredible amount of money it cost to raise a kid. I like knowing if I have a long weekend and I wanna drive 4 states away to visit a buddy I can do that. Many many reasons, but to name a few… Generational trauma, I don’t come from healthy people and I’m not healthy, I’ve never been comfortable around any children, and it turns out my spouse and I are infertile anyway. I have lots of mental health issues and honestly feel my family’s genes shouldn’t be passed on. It’s a fucking horrible thing to have to admit, but if I just think about letting the best of the species live on, we ain’t it. It’s a very fucked up viewpoint, but I just don’t want to give any kid my issues lol. I can’t judge my own faults on just genes, but there are certainly patterns in my family. I’d prefer they end with me. People can call me ruthless or cold, but I’m just looking at it logically. My kids would naturally have a disposition for mental health problems. I honestly feel it’s a bat shit mental thing to go through with and suspect everyone who does have a kid is crazy. I could go on and on with reasons.
