Obviously I did all the Don’t Confuse My Personality With My Attitude MY PErsonality Shirt Apart from…,I will love this cooking and I wouldn’t mind if chores were split but he did no housework at all. So when he stayed over at my house, I’d be constantly picking up his shit and clearing up after him. When I challenged him on this, he’d say “well just tell me what to do and I’ll do it.” I’d have to get home from work and cook him something, because he literally couldn’t even feed himself. 2 things here. He Absolutely could have (and should have) been better at this. BUT. You also should remember that he might not” know” instinctively what a “well groomed adult’s” house should be kept like, I think yes it WOULD have helped if you’d given him a “to do list” or something. But not cooking. Going into this story I was nervous. I can’t cook, my boyfriend does it all. But I go out of my way to help chop vegetables, take care of the dishes or at least take out the trash. It might still be a burden to do all the cooking but I’m not a child, I don’t need to be told what to do. I can see what needs to be done. After less than a year of dating It’s not wrong to dump someone for any reason. If it’s not a good match, let them go so they can move on.
