Want real answers? Sort by controversial. Loads of well-reasoned responses as to why people continue to mask. However, the Don we now our plague apparel shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this downvote patrol is working triple shifts today. College student here. None of the students in my classes are unless it’s a more creative orientated classroom like creative writing or music. Despite that I still wear them no matter what because my teachers are, and I respect them. In fact seeing the utter disrespect towards my professors has opened my eyes. 95% of the people in these classes don’t deserve to be here. They don’t get how lucky they are to have these gifted people teaching them things. And they can’t even do them a minor courtesy. It’s absolutely shameful. I had one teacher BEG the students to wear masks because she has an immunocompromised toddler. It disgusted me that the five us us wearing masks were still the only five wearing masks still after that. I’m in my thirties so I’m a little older than them, but not by much, I don’t think I would have pulled that shit ten years ago.

Yes, my job requires it (work in a pharma job since pre-COVID) and now it’s habit unless I’m visiting a friend and the state (VIC in Australia) doesn’t require it in residences. Yes, because I have a baby. I wear it in stores and I avoid eating in restaurants. I somehow started getting notifications on Twitter of doctors that are very concerned still. So I listen to their warnings (it’s very airborne!)
