However, WF has to weigh the possibility that every other charity is going to go to them thinking that they will dole out checks if asked. Not a good look for the investors, or the charities. 2) It raises awareness. Now you may not think that awareness is that important, but I assure you it benefits the charity in more ways that eventually lead to more donations down the line.
