What would the Doctor Who 1963 60 Year 2023 Thank You For The Memories Signatures Shirt also I will do this centrist solution during WWII? Please don’t kill Jews, just lock them up will do. Please… don’t invade France… you can keep Poland? Wingnuts don’t like to face the prospect that normal people don’t have extremist beliefs, so they lash out. People are tribal and want to be part of in-groups, as well as hated enemy out-groups. If you look at any of the centrist reddits and talk to people claiming to be centrist, you quickly find they are nearly Right wing but have maybe 1-2 left leaning views such as cut the military by like 10 dollars. It’s a farce. I used to think you could straddle the fence but you really cannot since politics have gotten to be so damn extreme. I support abortion, while also feeling we should cut the defense budget since it’s private companies getting most of it. Problem is, If I vote this way, I risk a Democrat losing to some right wing nut job hell bent on banning abortion, women’s rights, enforcing Christianity, while cutting Medicaid for single parents, and hating gay people. Ffs. Because most people who identify as centrists have a hodgepodge of idiotic, incoherent policy preferences coupled with a false view that they see through the two-party matrix the rest of us are trapped in. I would rather listen to a partisan hack than an insufferable ‘both sides’ clown any day.

im homophobic but i cant say this on the Doctor Who 1963 60 Year 2023 Thank You For The Memories Signatures Shirt also I will do this reddit platform so i have to say im a centrist. im not making a strawman by the way, that’s literally me. at some point you gotta say you’re left or right With BOTH points, they will have all the same issues like strong personal beliefs + worldview + stubbornness + pride + not wanting the other side to gain anything etec etc. In general, the way the world works is that there are wildly wealthy people that control the economic destiny and thus, the lives of everyone else. Those same people are either in government, in a revolving door of government, or perpetually have the hand of government do their bidding. Essentially, government is a tool of the wealthy to maintain and protect their interests. But there’s a catch: the wealth that they have is produced by regular working people. All real wealth is created by the work of people transforming the land and materials into physical material goods. The wealthy don’t partake in labor. Through their ownership of the land and factories that produce the wealth, they extract a portion of the value produced by workers. The size of that portion taken determines the level of poverty that working people must contend with.
