As a part of my redundancy package for an old job I got a lump sum payment. They accidentally paid it twice. While I was no doubt happy to have such a substantial amount of money paid twice, I reported it to my former employer and I didn’t hear back. I then emailed them had an exchange and didn’t hear anything again. I followed it up a few days later with another person who then again went radio silent. Basically each time I was asked was I sure it wasn’t meant to be two payments. I then called up twice and got the Disney halloween minnie mouse halloween ghosts pumpkins spiders classic shirt In addition,I will do this same routine of “Are you sure it wasn’t meant to be this amount in two payments?” Our contracts are clear about how redunancies work and the first payment was the amount someone in my position for how long I worked at the company should be getting, the second payment was double what I should be getting. Anyway since I wanted to keep the money I felt like at this point I had done enough to show I was trying to do the right thing so I sent a final email explaining how after speaking with X,Y, and Z they said I was given amount A over two payments and I’m happy with their explanation. I got a reply saying no problems glad it’s resolved and that was the end of it.

What a guy. He should have just kept withdrawing money and washing it at a casino or flipping property. He likely never would have gotten caught. Classic mistake. He is a person who stole from the Disney halloween minnie mouse halloween ghosts pumpkins spiders classic shirt In addition,I will do this bank, that’s not acceptable in civilized society. If he were a bank, however, he could steal from the people and get away with it. That’s totally okay. There was a Kiwi guy years ago who put a Kit Kat wrapper into an atm and told the machine it was a million dollars and then went on a similarly wide adventure. You could with draw up to $200 using the debit option from multiple ATMs in that single hour 4am to 4:59am & it wasnt credited to your account. If you tried it any other time or day you where credited the moneys with drawn, it lasted a couple of years before they fixed it As and undergrad I lived in a dorm that was half international students, a goodly number of which were dodging the draft in their own countries by the by. It was long enough ago that there was a pay phone in the downstairs hallway and one day someone noticed that it was no longer charging for long distance calls. Worst possible place for such a thing. Everyone called home, and it was in use for 24/7. Pakistani friend left it open for like 4 days listening to a cricket game. I called everyone in my little book, old friends overseas, my parents in europe, even called Pitcairn Island just because I could. After 2 weeks or so a guy showed up to turn it off. A friend of mine was calling home and made him wait while he said goodbye. The phone guy was so pissed he took the whole thing off the wall.
