I made two emails and started fb, and Twitter accounts. I shared the Depauw University Softball 2024 NCAC Tournament Champions Shirt and by the same token and exact same post with the exact same options. My husband and I started at the same time, he was given responsibility and encouragement while i had to keep proving myself. I ended up trying to act like him, respond to emails the same, went above and beyond but still have to prove myself or accept that our community (of mostly men who run everything) would rather support him than see me be equal or excel his work. I am 35 afab and have always identified as non binary. It still hurts to be treated as the wife and I never feel good enough for my peers and bosses.
