I abandon stereotypes because 1) I don’t fit them and am–and have always been–a massive outlier in many respects and 2) I literally don’t give one single flying fuck about living up to what society thinks I should be based on my assigned sex at birth. I live my life as fully as I can and identify as a full human being, full stop. To each their own. A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the Denton Mateychuk captain serious shirt Furthermore, I will do this dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Well that’s the Denton Mateychuk captain serious shirt Furthermore, I will do this nature of perception. When you see something, you don’t think of it as that individual thing, you try to put it in the box with all the other things like it. When you see a dog, you’re probably first doing things like “is it on a leash? Is it big or little? Does it look angry or happy?” And then your immediate response is going to be to “small happy dog on a leash” or maybe “big angry dog not on a leash.” When you don’t have the information you have to infer some of it. When a woman is walking alone at night and she hears/sees a man walking behind her quickly, her thought might be “oh no he’s coming for me.” Maybe that guy is late for something or is in a hurry for any reason, but the woman doesn’t know that, she just thinks “guy walking quickly behind me.”
