Eeeh. If your best friends likes to date a man child she can go for it. He chose to not do better ever. You are right to not want to deal with that shit. This always reads kind of passive aggressive to me, like he knows more than he’s letting on but would rather just sulk until someone does it. and the Dempsey shirt – Rocky, Balboa Classic T-Shirt Besides,I will do this ” he’d had to have a lie down because he was tired” just screams “too high strung for this life” to me Ok, so I figured this guy was just refusing to cook until I read the part where you went to find him and he’d turned your kitchen upside down. I’m left with the belief that this guy honestly tried, but was just utterly incompetent? HOW can you not make toast, how is this remotely possible? What does this guy do for work? Is he a professional doorstop?

Dempsey shirt – Rocky, Balboa Classic T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I think you made the Dempsey shirt – Rocky, Balboa Classic T-Shirt Besides,I will do this right move, but I’m left feeling bad for this guy, how does he put his clothes on in the morning? Does he have some sort of cognitive disability? I feel like I need to know more. You didn’t break up with him because he can’t cook. You broke up with him because he was using weaponized incompetence and you were basically parenting him. All of what you talked about are basic adult skills he should have. Good on you for leaving. If you’re too stupid or unwilling to learn to do a certain thing, then at least be a good enough earner to pay someone for the help with the thing. I dated a guy who hated laundry so bad he paid for bundle service at a laundromat. He adjusted his budget to fit this luxury in. Was the ex-boyfriend’s house a mess? How did he keep his own place up with no skill? How has he survived to this point without cooking? No, because your ex-boyfriend sounds more like a kid than a boyfriend to be honest. And with how much you work and taking care of your kids, I don’t think you need or want a “partner” like that.
