The ‘Defund Hollywood 2024’ shirt calls for a reevaluation of these budgets, suggesting that resources could be better allocated to independent filmmakers and underrepresented voices.

Representation in Hollywood has long been a concern, with minority groups and marginalized communities often relegated to stereotypical or tokenistic roles. The ‘Defund Hollywood 2024’ shirt advocates for greater diversity and inclusivity both on and off-screen. It demands that the industry invest in diverse talent, breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for underrepresented voices.
